Had A Great Time! My girlfriend loved it, especially the “Tunnel of Love”. The art was dope, the games are hilarious. Advise everyone to experience it.

It’s an iconic building and one that I wanted to see in the city. It’s still worth it, just be aware it’s currently covered in scaffold. The small park at the narrow end has a nice aspect and is a great spot for people watching. Dog watching too, as it has a couple of fenced off leash dog areas.

We stayed at a hotel in the Flatiron District and wandered over here several times, once on a walking tour and then on our own. There was a wonderful farmers market and art market going on, one day we accessed the subway stop to get on a line we needed, and there always seems to be a protest or gathering going on. We also grabbed some pizza down the street and shopped in nearby stores. This is what a public space should be.

If you are staying in or around Union Square, this is a great market to experience! There are several vendors selling a variety of foods, from pastries, eggs, meat, vegetables, and more specialty items, such as honey. The quality of the stuff there is very good, although some of the prices are on the high side. I have been visiting this market off and on for a while, and I have really enjoyed it...

Madison Square Park, located en route to Lower Manhattan, is a nice spot of greenery which offers you options for both relaxation and activity.

I love Teddy Roosevelt and wanted to visit this site for a few years. My wife and I came here in June and we really enjoyed the artifacts and information provided on the first floor; they have quite a bit of artifacts from Teddy's life including the shirt he wore on his assassination attempt, which was very interesting to see. It's unfortunately not the original site as that building was demolished, but they tried to make it as authentic as possible. We ended up not having enough time to do the tour of the building, but that was fine for us as we were more interested in the artifacts than the building itself. It's a neat place to visit and we'd recommend it if you're in the area and enjoy US history.

Our small children had a great time. Some interesting and fun activities and engaging staff. Only downside is it is a rather small space.

We visited NYC and DC last year and we were fascinated. So we decided to return to NYC again.
We stayed in the same hotel on 44th west and 6 th avenue. At 2 minutes walk there is a supermarket and the Bryant Park.
In the park there are evefy day activities organised.
Movie in the park, free group yoga sessions, a jazz concert, a weekly bingo. Circus school for everyone ....
People gather in the park, use the free tables and chairs and bring their own food and eat and drink it with friends and familiy.

Most tourist guides recommend to buy a hop on hop off ticket for a day or half a day. But that is rather expensive.
I woul recommend to buy a 7 day metro card for 35 USD per person and use the public busses. And see NYC above metro level.
The busses are easy to use and you can go from N to S on one single line.
Or change whenever you see something interresting.

We visited China town and were looking for a terrace in the street.
    But there are no terraces.
Probably because of taxes. Every body is sitting on the ground or on window sills.

A trip we recommend is taking the bus to the free Staten Island ferry and enjoy the short ferry trip up and down.

Last year we dined in a German beergarten at 500 meter from our hotel. You can find it easy on google.
German schnitzels, fries an a big beer. Deliceous.
We avoided McDonalds and Shack and shake because of the fast food.

We rather walked to rhe China deli next to our hotel on 6th Av and chose from a warm buffet whatever looked good.
Price 25 USD per Kilo or 2 LBS..
But you only pay what you put in your box.
Same with the supermarket Whoolfood oppositeBryant park.

Tourisr guides speak obout tips for whatever.
We gave now and then tips (5USD for houekeeping per day.
The women were very happy with this and gave us a super service.
We give the 5 USD from the first day until the last day.

Last year I had a 1000 USD budget for 20 days USA and I came home with almost all the money.

We went to the Chelsea Flee Market but the prices are too high and the products are not so iterresting.

But I do recommend the High Line walk and a visit to Chvelsea Market food courts.

    Taxi at JFK.
Use only the yellow cabs. They have fixed prices.
We came out of JFK an were intercepted by a man who brought us to a big suburbqn. I asked for the price and he said it's by meter. But once we left there was ni meter and no taxi licence.
At arrival in Manhattan the driver charged ud 340 USD.
I said I would not pay andI I showed him 150 dillar.
This or you call the police I said.
    And finally
    he agrezd on 170.

The yellow cab would be 85 USD plus tip.
We would like to go back but we wait for the presidential elections before we decide.

Finally. The people are very friendly and if the see you are looking for something they will ask if you need assistance.

Took the bus to Six Flags Great Adventure.
I was really scared due to all negative reviews but the bus has arrived and brought us on time.
Besides that is was petty comfortable and the driver was nice.

Large roof top bar with great views of The Empire State Building. Although busy we got a nice table with chairs, you pay a premium for drinks but the frozen cocktails were particularly good. Great place to spend an evening in good company.

Visited this wonderful building with my wife and were lucky enough to take part in a tour hosted by Bro Louis Cooper. He was so informative and passionate about both Freemasonry and the building.

The lodge rooms are jaw dropping. The scale and decor are beautiful.

Well worth a visit for Masons and non Masons alike.

I was looking for something to fill a lonely Saturday evening and Fotografiska felt like a good bet. I paid the $31 to enter (which did feel a little pricey) and made my way to the 5th floor to work my way down the building.

Floors 5 and 4 were both dedicated to animals (read pets) and different ways in which they permeate our daily lives. Different photographers told their stories in different ways, from playful, to funny, to sad. My favourite photographs were by a photographer called Martin Parr, who described his collection as "anti-propoganda"; depicting the real side of life with pets with a level of humour and honesty.

Floor 3 was an entire floor dedicated to Frank Ockenfels, which was more of a parade of just how many celebrities the famous photographer has worked with. For this reason, his works were less relatable, and therefore less interesting in my opinion.

All in all this place is worth a visit. The exhibitions are really well presented and its a great option for a late night museum visit.

So many “wow” and “ how” moments throughout the evening.
Unexplainable tricks. Very entertaining and attention holding.
Involved everyone in the audience to maintain authenticity.
    Absolutely amazing.

Located just off union Square this is an interesting and sizeable shop. The name doesn’t really do it justice as I was expecting something more of lower end.

Thanks to the French Ambassador Dubois, we had the pleasure to discover this lovely house facing the « sublime «  private gardens at Gramercy place South. Delicious restaurant and a Chef of high quality. Interesting gallery for art shows.
