We last minute booked a 45 minute cruise from the South St Harbor at Pier 16 to see the Statue of Liberty in less than an hour on a rainy day. We sat up top in the open since we were already wet and had the pleasure of listening to tour guide Steve (born and raised in Queens)! The boat went under the Brooklyn Bridge and then around south manhattan before going to the Statue of Liberty and slowing down so everyone could get their photos. Then we returned!! A fantastic experience that offered amazing views with an amazing tour guide!

Dave was amazing! Such a lovely evening. We had our engagement shoot on the boat, and the city and sail boat made the perfect backdrop. Highly recommend for a unique NYC experience.

Quite simply the best experience in New York! Captain Eric is a true gent and a font of knowledge! The most perfect sunset sail with the added bonus of a supermoon rising! Highly, highly recommend this trip!

Had a really good time, staff were friendly and supportive of my auntie who has slight mobility issues. The guide was very knowledgeable. Got very close up to The Statue of Liberty and got some great pics. For $24 each, it was really worthwhile.

This boat ride around Manhattan with Captain Mike was the best way to see the city and all its beauty. Captain Mike was lovely, polite, kind, committed to providing us a 5-star ride!! We saw everything we wanted and more…..We captured great photos and left the boat saying that was the BEST! He shared trivia about the sights; where Sully landed the plane in the Hudson River, the forts and of course the Queen of the Sea, Lady Liberty!! I would highly recommend this boat ride with Captain Mike, you will throughly enjoy it!!

We took a boat at the boat rental area. We paid 27 dollars for it for an hour. The boat ride is beautiful with turtles, ducks in and around the water area. Orlando at the boat rental area was very helpful. A wonderful way to spend the afternoon at central park.

First class experience from start to finish! The Captain and crew took take of 12 of us with a nice brunch we ordered. They were attentive but completely non-intrusive, giving us an intimate 3 hours together on the Hudson River. Enjoyed talking with the Captain who knows how to take care of his guests.

Had an AMAZING night sailing with Captain Paul and his Wife Melissa. They were punctual, friendly and so hospitable. The Odette was immaculate, Melissa made sure we had a great time. The Music was great, they made sure we were entertained and took us to all the sights we wanted to see. They positioned the boat so that we had spectacular views and great photo opportunities. They took us to the Statue of Liberty, up the East River, under the Brooklyn Bridge and made sure to point out view points for us to see. Overall we had 5 star service hands down. Grateful to Captain Paul and Melissa for ensuring our evening was special. Can’t thank them enough for all the great memories.

Second time booking with the Islander Group and they once again didn't disappoint. Great time, Capt. Mike was awesome. If you're in need of a relaxing time while taking in all the beauty that NYC has to offer, this is for you.

Went on the 2.5 hour around Manhattan tour as a birthday present to my sister. We both had our own Yamaha waverunners and went out on the noon tour on a beautiful day in August 2019. The trip was so worth it! Our tour guide, Eileen, was very nice and took some great pictures since I also purchased the photo package. Stops at the GW bridge, Brooklyn Bridge, United Nations building and Statue of LIberty (among others) was awesome. Seeing NYC from the water on a jet ski is very different and exhilarating. It was rough around the Statue of Liberty with 5 foot waves but the waverunners cut through the water as long as you kept the speed up to 20kmh. I can't say enough about this tour. It makes me want to purchase my own waverunner! The pictures were emailed as a link a day later and they came out really good. This is a great memory for me and my little sis. Highly recommend the tour. They are easy to get to in Liberty State Park with parking costing $7 or you can take the ferry from NY. This was my first time riding a jet ski but I absolutely loved it!
I was able to go 82kmh on the jet ski (about 50 mph). It was awesome!

I rented a boat for today and the boat and owner didn't exist. The number is recieved after paying was Kazakhstan.....annoying.

I emailed Sail.com and haven't had a response back as I want a refund. If this happens to you (as this company is likely to be a scam company), please contact your credit card provider and ask for a Charge back. This will get your money back. Hopefully someone closes this site down.

I booked the Jacana boat for a surprise party for my wife and booked it back in January for a July cruise. I worked with Margarita who was super nice and communicative until I paid. Then it was a nightmare to get her on the phone. I would send emails and texts and calls and would go weeks before I would get a return call. She did finally message me back as it got closer to the cruise. I asked if we could adapt the bar since we paid for 40 people and only 30 were coming. She confirmed in email that they would upgrade the bar to a top shelf but they could not do a cash bar since it was already paid. However the day before the cruise, she called and said she could not upgrade the bar. She also mentioned that she had “great news” that they wanted to “upgrade” me to a newer and much smaller boat! She said the only way they would upgrade the bar was if I took this “upgrade” to the smaller boat. I did not want this “upgraded” boat as it was much smaller and was not conducive to the experiences we were planning and the weather was supposed to be bad and the boat I rented was covered and the new one was not. When I informed them that it would not take the “upgrade” they refused to upgrade the bar as they had already promised.

Once I arrived on the boat to set up, Kelvin was very kind and met me and showed me around. He was very accommodating and kind. He introduced me to the others on the boat who would be helping. The bar tender was very kind yet flirty (I guess he wanted some tips and a possible date as he even hit on my wife (the birthday girl).

All in all, the cruise itself was great. Incredible views of the city and all of our guests had a great time.

Things I wish I would have known:
    - They will not accommodate to any dietary restrictions
    - They will NOT follow through on written promises (upgraded bar).
-you cannot play music while at the dock (30 min before and after as you are leaving the dock and returning to the doc)
-we arrived back to the dock early and it was expected that we depart the boat early even though we had it rented until 11 and they were pushy to get us off.
    - They provide ZERO directions on how to board the boat or how to communicate to guests where to go to board the boat. There were TONS of people boarding and many boats and every person in my party had to call me and we had to send Kelvin out numerous times to escort people back to the boat. It was very chaotic.

I would suggest looking for other options but from what I understand, this company owns several of the boats and there are others who “resell” the same boats with mark up. That could have been misleading but that is what I was told during the booking process. It’s all a bit shady but in the end, we had a decent time and a memorable cruise for my wife’s 40th surprise.

Our family has been renting yachts when we visit our daughter in NYC every year. We typically do this twice each season when we are able. We have used three different companies in past years to book our charters with and by far this was the best experience we have ever had.
There prompt response, and pricing was not just what has sold us on them, but there ability to go above and beyond was incredible. They even provide us with a Stretch Limo to visit the yacht prior to our booking it. We will only use Freedom Luxury from now on and would strongly recommend them to anyone who is looking to rent a yacht in New York or New Jersey. Thank you for an amazing experience, and we will be sure to see you again in the fall. Thank you the WIlliams Family,
