- Courtney TNewark, OH82 contributionsThis is the best view of the Statue of Liberty and it's free! If you are staying in Time Square take the subway all the way to the ferry. It was snowing the day we went so our view wasn't as great this year as it has been in the past but still a fun ride.Written 22 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Moochie-La-LaCalgary, Canada737 contributionsThis is an excellent way to get between Roosevelt Island and Manhattan. Think oversized ski gondola that happens to be crossing the East River. Excellent view of the surrounding area! $2.90 USD for an adventurous ride.Written 19 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MikeyT999New York City, NY1 contributionThanks to Zufi for making this process easy and quick! I was able to clarify that I wanted to cancel my ticket and receive a refund through phone.Written 14 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Courtney TNewark, OH82 contributionsDon't be scared if you are from our of town. Download the subway app and use the map to navigate. All the lines are color coded and the map is easy to read. It is cheap and gets you places quickly. If you are unsure the attendants are helpful. We have rode the subway several times in Manhattan and people have always been friendly. Yes you will likey see a few homeless people.Written 22 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Relax607377106751 contributionFamility of 4 ( two small children), booked for a transfer from jfk to ewr.
Our flight landed early and the driver was waiting for us even though we got out 45 minutes before scheduled.
Since we were early we asked if he could give us a little tour of new york. Which he very happely dis. Very good service, vlean and nice car. Driver was friendly and helped load and offload our baggage.
Also had perfectly installed the booster and infant seat in advance.
Only thing was that they charged us for «meet and greet» without us asking for or. confirming it, and said it was because of the construction at jfk. Which seemed legit, but still. Not a biggie, just a bitt annoying.
Would use them again though.Written 10 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I never take the ferry across the river because the train or the tunnel (if driving) are much more convenient and cheaper. The downtown stop is a better stop closer to the action but the midtown stop is only good if you are going to Javitz or the Intrepid.
The cost is too much, the journey is on a less frequent schedule than the train and the parking at Port Imperial is also too much.
So yeah, if this is your first time or if you are a local showing someone the city, this is a nice journey. If you want in and out quickly, take a train.Written 19 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DanThe Hague, The Netherlands9,148 contributionsGood and fast way to get from Jersey City to NYC, as we did on a daily basis. The ticket machines are a nightmare, as you need to enter the postcode of your credit card.
A member of staff had to explain that, but there’s no sense entering a vice dixit postcode if you’re not from the US. To bypass this, you can enter five zeros.
We had to use the ticket machines, because you cannot tap your contactless card when using a stroller to pass the barriers. Multiple credit cards got rekeyed, and only worked after multiple attempts of buying tickets. Recommend to use cash if you’re in a hurry and need a single ticket, because buying with a credit card is a lengthy process. The ticket you buy, gets ‘eaten’ by the machine if you use it to pass the barrier. Making the whole ticket buying process for PATH a very red tape thing to do.
Other than that we had no troubles with PATH, part from elevators not working.Written 21 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I booked with Kelsey in the office, and she was so helpful and took the time to answer all of my questions about the trip. I took my grandkids to NYC for the first time and wanted it to be a special trip. Alex was a driver, and he was professional and met us as soon as we had gotten our luggage. Our flight was over an hour late. When I let him know he said not to worry that he would be there for us. Awesome experience all around.Written 22 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Gerardo M14 contributionsProcess was simple and straightforward when making the reservation. The price was very reasonable even for a larger vehicle. Props!
On day of pickup our driver was right on time and called us to let us know where he was waiting. Nice guy too, very helpful and answered our questions as we were arriving to the city.Written 17 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Cleaner and seems safer. Unfortunately, still homeless people , like all of NYC. And I still will tell travelers to be aware and cautious.Written 29 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - The Five Road Trippers 🚙🎡🎢🧳Long Island, NY16,051 contributionsI had an early morning flight out of LaGuardia. A late model Lexus was sent as my ride. Driver was safe and drove very courteously. - SummerFamilyVacationHouston, TX27 contributionsPickup from JFK airport to hotel. Pickup Instructions given not clear. Pickup driver did not greet, just grabbed suitcase to put in trunk. He did not speak with us at all and did not ask for drop off verification. He was taking personal calls while driving and looking at phone while on road . “Due to traffic,” he told my family that we would have to walk 1/2 to 1 block to get to hotel and that is what he did. Looking at situation he could have dropped us off in front of hotel. Very disappointed at lack of professionalism. Also used company for hotel to JFK drop off. Same thing. Different driver did not even greet. Again, he did not verify drop off location. Not happy.Written 9 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
