Loved visiting here. Loved the attractions inside the building, very well organised.
My daughter had a bad experience with one of the staff as she was wearing a boot on her ankle & she asked if there was somewhere to sit & his reply was “are you a pirate?? What you going to do? Hop there? She didn’t appreciate that.

Grand Central Train Station is one of the most visited destinations in NYC.

It offers sights, history, architecture, dining and shopping.

The most iconic and wellknown sights are: the turquoise and gold celestial ceilung mural and the info booth topped with a four-sided brass clock.

Pay also attention to details: one souvenir to take home in my heart ❤ is the shiny golden brass letter box.

We visited on a w.e. and unfortunatly the Grand Central Oyster Bar was closed ...

I first visited GCT decades ago and was overwhelmed. Each time I return here it's a highlight. Great aura!

One World Trade Center is the tallest building in the US and the observatory offers 360 degree views for miles. The history and the legacy is awing, as you think about how this tourist destination would not exist had it not been for 9/11. I went on a clear day and had great views. The price isn’t horrible if you just do the standard admission. To me, it’s nothing I would need to experience again but overall it is worth the experience.

As someone who's been obsessed with White Collar since my teenage years, this was such a highlight. One of the best Art Deco architecture in NYC and watching it from up close was amazing.

It’s an iconic building and one that I wanted to see in the city. It’s still worth it, just be aware it’s currently covered in scaffold. The small park at the narrow end has a nice aspect and is a great spot for people watching. Dog watching too, as it has a couple of fenced off leash dog areas.

During our trip to New York, we had the chance to visit the Vessel, a fascinating attraction located on the west side of Manhattan.

The Vessel is a striking architectural structure that also serves as a centerpiece and public landmark within the Hudson Yards complex.

Since opening to the public, it has become very popular. Its unique design draws many travelers to check it out. The Vessel resembles a beehive from the outside, stands 16 stories tall (approximately 46 meters), and consists of 154 flights of stairs, 2,500 steps, and 80 landings. Visitors can climb to the top for a beautiful view of the west side of the Hudson River.

It's no surprise that people visit this place often; exploring the Vessel was a really cool experience. There are many picturesque spots perfect for photographs that no one should miss.

We had a great time at the Vessel and highly recommend anyone visiting New York stop by.

Nice way to see the city and learn how it has changed over the years. Don’t need a ton of time to do this but definitely a cool view pint of the city.

WOW -- such a beautiful church and amazing that there is no cost to tour. The stained glass windows are gorgeous and we were fortunate enough to get to hear one of the clergy practicing on the organ and that wqs FAB!! The church and adjoining rooms, have some beautiful paintings, sculptures, etc. - not to mention the outside graveyard lets you see Alexander, Eliza, and Phillip Hamilton’s resting place. I definitely recommend stopping in Trinity Church the next time you are near Wall Street and the 9/11 memorial.

Transportation Hub in Lower Manhattan serving both the NYC subway and PATH trains to New Jersey with some of the most impressive architecture found. Known as The Oculus. Great spot to get some amazing photos.

This is a beautiful Cathedral and worth a visit. It has a beautiful altar, stained glass windows and paintings. If you visit, be sure to look near the side entrance at the large statue of Saint Padre Pio sitting and listening to confessions. There is a block on the other side of the “confessional” statue where a person can sit. Unfortunately, it was behind a locked gate, but you can still view it through the gate.

Decades after completion, Woolworth Building is still an encompassing presence in Manhattan. The iconic skyscraper has long been one of the most recognizable buildings in New York. Unfortunately it is not open to public.

We expected to spend maybe an hour there and it turned into almost three hours. Lots of Revolutionary era artifacts that were nicely explained. We didn't realize that this site was where some early federal offices were based. That gave even greater meaning to the locale. It was humbling to stand in the room where George Washington spoke with his officers at the end of the war. We've been to several locations where Washington visited/frequented/lived and this was an important site to add to that list. They've done a nice job of adding furnishings to the pieces that are original to the museum. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this museum.

This is a wonderful spot to see NY from above. We were a family with four kids, and they all loved it! We had a cloudless day so the view was amazing. it is an open floor, so I am not sure how fun it is if it rains...
I do feel that it was a bit pricey, though. it cost us as a family almost $350 which is not cheap for watching the view of Manhattan.
