We only had one full day in New York so wanted something that would give us a chance to see most of what there is to see,not what we really wanted but that's life!
Pick up was prompt,Mel was our driver who did a great job, adding his comments from time to time,Bryant was our tour guide who was outstanding!
The value of having someone who knows the place was especially evident IMO on the Staten Island Ferry ride where Bryant took us somewhere few other passengers bothered with which meant we had an area at the stern pretty much to ourselves with great views.
Only 11 people in the tour group which meant a very personal touch,Bryant was always open for questions & a good laugh.
    Overall a magic experience,top guys!

Ray was our guide and he did a great job of leading us through all the sites and sharing not only the history, but he covered the architecture of the buildings as well.
He did a great job of explaining how the 9/11 Memorial was designed and the significance of the various structures.

I enjoyed the trip as a means to getting a general feel of New York on our first day in the city, however you don't actually see many landmarks from the bus. The staff at the stops weren't particularly friendly and didn't interact with the passengers. We didn't use the on bus commentary due to the poor volume.
There is a hard sell by the Big Bus staff everywhere you go in Times Square.

Kevin is a wonderful tour guide. He grew up in NYC and is a wealth of information. I learned so much and greatly enjoyed his dry sense of humor. This tour is a great way to see NYC beyond Manhattan. I would have never been able to see this much in just one day. This tour was a last minute booking for me after another tour fell through and I wish I had done it earlier in my trip rather than my last day. During the tour, I made notes of things I would like to do or revisit the next time I am in NYC. I will definitely use this tour company again in the future.

Our tour guide was Chris and he was awesome. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. He even added some of his own filming stories during slow traffic. And being NYC, there was plenty of traffic! Numerous film and TV sites viewed, as well as a few stop and shoot sites. Stopping for the Ghostbusters Headquarters was probably the highlight. Would highly recommend. This is featured on the GO CITY pass.

Early start. Our guide was knowledgable and helpful. Visited lots of sites including the white house. No wifi on the bus as promised which was disappointing. Very long day but worth it.

Bryant was a fantastic tour guide, very funny guy and so knowledgeable. Wonderful way to see NY and gave some great tips about food and places to see. Guy is an amazing driver and a good double act with Brayant. Highly recommend! Claire Jay and Margaret Ireland

So only thing was the guys trying to bug you to buy tickets all the time and say its only 19 dollars then to find out they add 10 dollars on top of the price 😆. So we done the night tour which left at times square you book your time we 20:30 it's a 90 minute trip around new york and across the bridge. I can't fault it it surprise me really enough it. Especially at night yes it was cold but what to expect in February. It was a non stop by the way no you can't hop on and off which I thought was a good idea for a night special. The lady doing the chatting on the mic was really down to eath explaining everything to us and telling us history of the city I didn't know, because we sat at top right at the back she always made sure we was ok due to it being cold.

For everyone's information and to avoid the confusion we encountered, there is no one from "Gray Line" on the street trying to sell you tickets. However, although we felt like we were being scammed by the Big Bus people, apparently, they are the same for this. Bus was fine, but we opted to do the entire loop in the morning to get the lay of the land, and then were made to get off the bus ahead of M & M world and had to walk a block and get in line (a long line) to get on a different bus (we only did the downtown loop). Also the ticket to the One World Tower was not provided to us and we were told we could just go there, however had to way to access a ticket there and had to go to customer service to get it sorted out. Thankfully the girl there was on the ball and took care of us. However she told us that we were supposed to be given a pink ticket by the Big Bus staff for entry to One World. We were not. I did this tour years ago and felt that time was a better experience overall. Still a good way to get the lay of the land, but it could have been smoother.
