Or is the joint smooth, and the vodka inviting? We tried a couple of the house-designed cocktails, which were all very nice. But I preferred the classic martini with the 100 proof small batch Dave had on hand, with a tasty olive. Great way to start my weekend.

Fantastic tour. Our guide Jacobs was great! Very knowledgeable, provided historic information about New York and we had some unique and tasty doughnuts.

My wife and my 1 year old daughter went on this tour. Our guide was Paul - he was excellent in explaining the area and the various food we tried. Paul was highly knowledgeable and it made the tour excellent. We do food tours in a lot of places, we I highly recommend doing this food tour in Williamsburg as an alternative to one of the other more well known areas in NYC. Thanks Paul for a great tour.

We went in for a quick snack and a cappucino. The place looks good, the cappucino is very good and the frittata (and other food also) is yummie. Next time we are in NY we will also try one of their cooking classes (as we found them too late).

We went with a group of friends for steak night, it was SO fun. And the team was very gracious when one of my friends forgot to sign up- they let her stay anyway and hang out with the group. The cooking tips were great, the staff was fun, and the night was an awesome rainy day activity. We can't wait to go back and take another class!

I have taken the Mexican and sushi classes with Chef Dan and had a great time! I agree that the classes are not for experienced chefs, but they are great for beginners looking to pick up simple recipes and techniques. The classes are more about prepping than cooking; some of the ingredients are prepared ahead of time and you bring the food home to cook rather than eat after the class. The sushi class especially was very instructional and we learned great tips on different ways to prepare rolls, and also on where to buy the proper ingredients. I will definitely be back for more classes.
