Comfortable ride, plenty to see and experience, including the Berber market since it was Tuesday. They knew that the crew had fish for them! Great views of the beach with hundreds of seals, and plenty of photo ops. Booked through Edgar Pires, just at the lighthouse at the RIU Palace. Great guy. Very knowledgeable, not pushy in the least. Contact him before hand on Wattsap, and he sends you a mine of useful information before you arrive.
Half day tour was excellent value for money. Many other types of tours available.
Would recommend to anybody, and will definately use again on a return visit. He was punctual, polite, and professional throughout the trip. His driving skills were top-notch, and he ensured our safety and comfort on the journey.
Akash was also very knowledgeable about the routes and even suggested a few great spots to visit along the way, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this service and would definitely choose them again for future trips. A couple of hours on the island, with tropical fish just off the coast in water of just over a metre in depth, followed by a barbecue on the boat. On the trip back the alcohol flowed freely and the crew led in singing and dancing. She did not only guide us on an enjoyable hike but also brought us to the most beautiful spots in this marvelous landscape and informed us about the local flora and historical facts and answered all questions competently. At each stop we were given enough time to enjoy and they even took photos of us with our phones. We felt that BĂ©atrice is passionate about her country and she made us understand why. We felt also very safe, assistance was given if needed.

Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Navigator8288102 contributionsI can highly visiting Sao Tome island & organising day excursions with a guide in advance; there are trips available to the north, the centre of the island ( coffee plantation area), the stunning southern beaches & over to Rotas Island in the far south. Each tour includes a high quality lunch in the most beautiful spots. I also went on a dolphin & whale spotting trip which was unforgettable & the highlight of the trip. Between November to March it is also possible to do turtle watching trips.
