What travellers are saying
- AudreyRPVRancho Palos Verdes, CA10 contributionsImpressive architecture, looks new in spite of being over 20 years old, rich and interesting artifacts, beautiful views, good photo library and research resources, very nice gift shop. Well worth a visit and walkable from both Stevenson and Skamania Lodge.Written 15 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Traci SBeaverton, OR349 contributionsSo quiet and peaceful there, nice trail, not too hard and such a beautiful area. Bring hand sanitizer as there are outhouses and no sinks.Written 7 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ndantonioNew York City, NY307 contributionsWe really enjoyed both the drive out to the Lava Canyon and hiking around that area. The volcano views along the road were spectacular and the signs at Lava Canyon very informative and well done. The trail is fairly steep with switchbacks and wasn't clearly marked, IMO. The suspension bridge was closed so we were unable to do the loop and had to return the same way we came. It was all nicely done and combined scenery with education in a good way.Written 8 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jkt4Oregon16 contributionsUnexpected fun location...our server was great at her job. "Speakeasy" atmosphere and really good tasting price.Written 29 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jenny Singh MottVancouver, WA80 contributionsGreat waterfall point within the first couple miles, but if you keep going, the view from the first lookout is great, but the summit is very rewarding🤘🏽This is one of my favorites. Loop is an option as well.Written 28 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- aphrabhickory, nc400 contributionsGood place to view artifacts and learn about pioneering and native tribes. Museum contains photos and maps as well as native crafts.Written 19 July 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marilyn S3 contributionsThe small gallery features many local artists. And has a vary of items from cards, paintings, books, to baskets, wooden toys, and more. Plus super friendly staff. The layout is an open house, then a short walk up the path to the entry, with street parking, plus it’s family friendly.Written 29 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stephanie PHuron, SD11 contributionsWe had a wonderful hike early in the morning. The wind was at our back going up the trail which made it a lot easier for me since I'm not a seasoned hiker. Lots of bird life too!Written 6 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Heather H1 contributionI took my young son and we had a blast! He loved looking at all the animals, the sheep and chickens were a favorite! The staff were super nice, even gave us a balloon for the kid to play with. The food vendors were good too, thank goodness for the coffee 😂 can’t wait for next year!Written 28 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Seasoned TravelerSan Francisco, CA4 contributionsFYI, this course is closed for 2020. The 18-hole course and driving range is being replaced by a 9-hole, par 3 course + an 18-hole putting green, perhaps opening in 2021.Written 6 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
