- MFxIIINorfolk, VA95 contributionsWhen you find yourself near Staunton,VA this place is worth the time spent. There are many "Oh cool" moments due to unique artifacts like, Rommel's camera, one of the Japanese reconnaissance cameras (with photo) used to survey / attack Pearl Harbor, and rare photographs. It's a celebration of the analog and ingenuity.Written 9 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Marjorie WHarrisburg, PA67 contributionsWe enjoyed our visit very much. The church is breathtakingly beautiful. The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. They gave us a brochure which gives information about each window. Pro tip: the church welcomes visitors only a few hours each week, so check their schedule online and plan accordingly.Written 21 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - recycledmonkeySarnia, Canada17 contributionsFor first time riders, this was ideal. Carl was very good and the horses were calm and easy to ride. The ride was at a very slow pace and about an hour long. It went over some hills and through a steam.Written 17 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- ValleyGuy71Staunton, VA125 contributionsRiding the Gypsy Express is a hoot for young and old. Kids enjoy the "toy train" and older adults remember when rail travel was king. Bridges and a tunnel and an engineer in the right garb.
This train has been running so long -- thru thick and thin --- that second and even third generations are riding and enjoying.Written 6 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. During our visit there was a display of fine colonial period silverware—both American and British. There was also a display of 17th and 18th century maps of French wine-growing regions, as well as notes from Thomas Jefferson’s tour of those regions in 1787. Both were fascinating. In the other gallery there was a marvellous display of artisanry from around the region: woodwork, pottery, painting, photography, weaving and more. The exhibition was competitively decided by a panel of judges. We very much enjoyed what we saw—and even lightened our wallets with a couple of purchases. As exhibitions regularly change, we’ll certainly stop in again when we are next here.Written 29 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
