Very awesome. Best part was all the dinosaurs. So much history. Kids loved the planetarium and all the hands on exhibits. We bought the city pass to get in. We stayed near the children’s hospital and parking was plenty and easy in and out. If you don’t want to drive you can ride the light rail to the museum district, about a 10 min ride. Very easy.

Went with a private group tour. Started with a session with Astronaut Tony Antonelli who gave a question and answer session . I was totally impressed with his intelligence insight and humanity.
Then we did a tram tour encompassing the Saturn V rocket: enormous, can't get any impression of what it is really like watching on TV; Mission Control and recreation of 1969 Moon Landing: really moving; and finally the Astronaut "playground" training center: an unimaginably huge indoor space.
Following the formal tour we had free time to explore on our own. We waited in a very long line to see Independence Space Shuttle mock up on real 747 used to transport it. I thought it was worth the wait: extremely interesting and educational.
Place was very crowded due to Eclipse chasers coming to Texas at the time.

This is a great museum. It is large enough that even browsing through the entire museum may be too much for a day. And just browsing I found quite impossible: so many pieces of art stopped us midstep and invited us for exploration, even in rooms that exhibit styles or eras that I am not particularly attracted to. And how many styles and eras were represented!
The legends and descriptions of the artifacts were very informative, arguably the best I have ever seen in any museum: they were concise, yet managed to include both historical context and fascinating factoids.
Also, the buildings and connecting tunnels are impressive, parking is easy (and acceptably priced) and the staff was helpful.

We had a very good time here. So many different animals and even water creatures too. We thought the zoo was very good value since it is GIGANTIC and organized nice. I would say they need to improve their concessions and Food a bit, my pretzel seemed old and the Pepsi wasn't even cold. I found better snacks inside the Herman Park than the zoo which shouldn't be case for such a crowded and well visited city zoo. I would come back again on future trips, my 14-year daughter thought it was the BEST zoo she has ever visited and I agree

Great food and beautiful ball stadium. My husband and I took our young grandsons to watch the Blue Jays and had dinner there. We sat once on the first base line, low down and one in the mid-section of left field. I preferred the higher seats.as you could see more. We had nachos and hot dogs, all good. The only downside is that the wine was TERRIBLE. We went two nights, and had a glass each, both equally bad.

The ballpark staff were very helpful and friendly and it was really easy to get in and out, even after the game.

Kids loved the children’s museum. Plenty of activities to do and spent the whole day there. We went in March from out of state and it was Spring break in Houston. So if you go in March watch out because it was super crowded and parking was a nightmare. Parking was all day for around $15 to $20.

The fit of the dress is also fantastic. I am quite petite and often struggle to find dresses that fit me well. However, this dress comes in different sizes, including petite, which was a game-changer for me. The dress hugs my body in all the right places without being too tight or uncomfortable. The length is also perfect, hitting right above my knees, making it appropriate for both work and social events.

Well priced, open all week (great to do on the way to the airport and Mondays since the other museums are closed on Mondays), interactive, nice staff, very interesting.

I grow milkweed in pots and raise monarch butterflies in my backyard and love to see the other species at the Butterfly Center.

Let’s begin by saying I’ve visited the Holocaust Museum on several occasions with docent tours that continue to share the horrendous and abominable Jewish tragedy that aimed to decimate the Jews.

This museum also dedicates space to
showcase phenomenal historical events one of which is the Kinsey Collection a private African American Art and History Collection sponsored by Shell.

This beautiful family has spent decades acquiring one of a kind artifacts that leave you speechless. Slavery occurred and it was heinous and atrocious.

“The Doors of No Return” leave you motionless knowing many of whom who were torn from their countries and families never returned. The one of kind marriage license of African Americans in America before Jamestown was founded. The first African American politicians, civil rights activists, poets, were documented as well as unique art pieces and sculptures. It is a profoundly moving and inspiring exhibit to learn so much about the importance of African American.

Don’t miss this opportunity to see this collection.

World class museums can be found here, and there are several close together. If you have a lot of time and plan to visit more than one, you can park your car and walk among them. Together they form a very pretty part of town.

This is a hidden gem that I was not aware of. Modern art and a wide range of collectibles. Worth the trip as it is exhibited in a spacious building allowing for very unusual pieces .
