As a realtor in the area, I always get question on the safety of the power plant. After visiting Duke World of Energy, I love the safety measures that are in place. Great education for young to old.

We have never been here before and happen to find website while searching for a place to camp around Lake Hartwell. We have pop up trailer and normally stay at KOA to have good shower facilities. This park is beautiful. Big camp sites. You are not looking in your neighbors window. Bath facilities are great. Very well maintained. Great swim beach. Lots of lakefront and Lakeview sites. Definately coming back.

Lunny was a pharmacist in Seneca when this was a thriving regional railway center. His wife was from a wealthy family and they spared no expense when building their home. The floors, mounding and panels were long-leaf pine, joined expertly, with imported wallpaper. The fireplace has features related to the Masons. Electricity was not yet available, but that and indoor plumbing was part of the construction. Contemporary antiques and Christmas decorations and refreshments completed this Holiday experience. If you want a glimpse into what living in this community was like 150 years ago, come enjoy a visit and tour.

My husband, daughter, and I visited the Bertha Lee museum today. It was free, and not far from where we're staying. I am so glad we didn't dismiss this place. We absolutely loved it. It's a cute little important piece of history. Shelby Henderson is the director there, and she has a wealth of information. I love it when people love their job. She answered all of our questions and was very courteous.

It is 43,000 acres of wonderfulness. Many trails, paths, waterfalls, and Lake Jocassee. I can be reached by boat from Jocassee, or hiking along CaneBrake trail ( 8 miles or so each way) or the Foothills trail connector near Jumping off rock. It can be a challenge to hike around but the views and scenery are worth it You can do day hikes or overnights and camp under the stars. Depends what you want. Another amazing place in South Carolina.

We opted for a last minute kayaking half day, and could not have been more satisfied. The location was amazing, and the staff were overly accommodating and helpful. Would definitely recommend Unlimited Outfitters.

Service Department experience: top tier on cost, customer service and attention to detail. Had 100 hour service and boat detailed. Highly recommend versus other shops in the area based on price, level of professionalism and clean-up.

Went to M. Tannery & Sons with my 3 sisters and we could barely bring ourselves to leave the store. We went back again the next day and I am still making purchases over the phone from Orlando, FL. So many wonderful home decor items! Mary and the ladies there were very helpful and so friendly. Wish we had one in Florida. Can't wait to go back!
