    This tour is awesome!
    I highly recommend this tour! We had so much fun and learned a lot about the Amish way of life. This tour ranks as one of the top highlights of our vacation this year.

    Learned so much about the Amish!
    Such an informative trip. Dale, our tour guide was so knowledgeable. We learned so much. We had a meal with the Amish. My husband forgot his cell phone at the Amish home and a LoKal member called us and even brought it to us. The Amish family was so friendly. The dad sat down and ate with us. We had really good conversations with them. They also gave us a tour. The meal was delicious. Great experience!

    Touring Lancaster with Dale
    Spent a beautiful day exploring the city with Dale. We learned so much about the city and the people who were major influences in the town or were born there. The architecture on some of the old buildings is incredible. Sprinkled in the tour were stories of the “olden days” as seen through his family history. My favorite was how his dad and friends would watch the World Series on the court steps before TV and radio. After the city portion of the tour we hopped in the van and toured the countryside learning about the religious persecution in Europe and how they were brought to Pennsylvania by William Penn. We saw an actual longhouse from the van and had a delicious scoop of ice cream from an Amish farm. I highly recommend this tour.

    Definitely Recommend to Others
    Mike was very informative and very nice! It was nice to know all the types of different foods and such that are in the city! It was me, my fiance and my future sister in law with us, and each place we went to there was one thing or another that we all enjoyed! I definitely recommend this tour to others, especially first timers in Lancaster!

    An Amazing Experience
    This tour was amazing. It ended up being just my fiancé and I, but we had such a great time learning about the history of Lancaster. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Lancaster and answered all our questions in depth. The breweries that we visited were great & had a great selection! We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in the history of Lancaster, as well has the impact of prohibition here.

    Great food and an even greater experience
    Wonderful experience- we both lived in Lancaster as kids and recently moved back. Getting to experience the history and culture of the city through food and inspiring stories as adults was the perfect welcome home!

    Food and history
    Debbie did a great job leading the tour, with an assist from her husband Dave. It ran almost 3 hours. She presented an interesting history of Lancaster and various important buildings, starting with the central market where the tour began.
    There was a wide variety of food tastings - sweet bologna with 5 year aged cheddar, soft pretzel, chocolate caramel, whoopee pie, hot or cold tea or coffee, cold rolled ice cream, empanada, two plantain dishes, fried chicken with optional hot sauce, olive oil and vinegar tasting.
    On your way out of town, stop at Lancaster Brewing for a few cans to go.

    Great bike ride
    Kendra was an excellent tour guide and host. The e bikes were fun to ride making the 18 miles a breeze. If you want 3 hours outdoors experiencing Lancaster City up close, this is the way to do it.

    What a FUN time!
    We had a super fun and memorable day on this scavenger hunt. The activities were so fun and unexpected. It was so much fun! Kendra was a super host, helpful and attentive. We would definitely do this again!!

    Amazing
    Kendra was awesome ! Really knowledgeable with the tour aspect and as far as the photo shoot: OUTSTANDING! Kendra really took a lot of extra time with each & every single pose perfectly positioning us for the perfect shot every time ! The trip was amazing and downtown was amazing ! Kendra also went the extra mile helping me navigate being on crutches and adapting the tour accordingly ! Thanks Kendra

    Great time for littles!
    Julia was really great with our small kids (7, 4, and almost 2). The kids had a great time and saw all the animals up close while feeding them and even got to hold baby goats. They even got to hunt for eggs under the chickens and found quite a few. All in all we enjoyed the tour and the rest of the farm!
