The Amish Christmas Cookie Tour was absolutely fantastic! Great knowledgeable tour guide on our bus. Super friendly Amish families. Some of the best Christmas cookies my family has ever tasted! We bought so many authentic Amish baked goodies to take home! We loved the experience and this will be our new Family Holiday Tradition!

Lots of booths with all kinds of baked goods, jams, chocolate and other homemade delicacies. We enjoyed just walking around and talking to all the friendly vendors.

This is the 8th out of the past 9 years (Covid interrupted one of them) that we have gone to the Christmas Show. This time - we made the 420 mile trip from Columbus Ohio and it was worth the trip. The songs, performers, dancers, etc... were fantastic. This is a great way to enjoy the holiday season and it has become a tradition for us. The music is always the basis for the show and the performance went by so fast - that 2 hours was highly enjoyed by our family. With reasonable tickets and discounts for children - it is a must for the Christmas Season. We will be back next Christmas!

Visited today to kill some time on a rainy day and were b.8wn away by how fascinating the tour of the house was. Tour guide Tom was phenomenal. I've got to admit, I never knew or cared about James Buchanan before, but the tour was so informative and the home is so well preserved and restored. Highly recommend a visit.

We enjoyed a gorgeous fall day at Dutch Wonderland (our first time at this park). This park is all about nostalgic vibes. It was built in the '60s and reminded me of the parks I went to as a kid in the '80s and '90s. I loved the my kids got to experience old-fashioned thrills at a well maintained park.

Unlike most parks built today, this park has trees throughout the park that were spectacularly changing on this fall day. Many of the summer-appropriate rides were closed, but there was no shortage of fun. There were Halloween decorations throughout the park; most were well done (the train ride at night is a must). We could have done without the Halloween costumes on the dinosaurs (it made that exhibit more campy), but otherwise enjoyed the theming throughout the park. Riding a vintage monorail with Halloween music was probably the scariest ride in the park (will it fall off the track? Ride it and find out!).

There are rides for all ages here. Merlin's Mayhem roller coaster was a stand out. The Dragon Lair's boat ride was a universal family favorite.

This park is significantly cheaper than the parks it gets compared to (Hershey & Sesame Place). We've enjoyed those other parks, but we felt like we got what we paid for -- good, old fashion family fun.

The one con to the park (which you'll find at any amusement park these days) is the lines. They were reasonable for (5-20 minutes) for the boardwalk-type rides (tilt-a-whirls, etc) but they were closer to 45 for some of the most popular attractions.

A friend of mine gave us a tour of this theatre while we were visiting from out of state, as she had performed/interned here for several years, and we were very impressed with how well-preserved it is. They've had some really good shows stop here on tour; I would definitely come back here to watch a show.

What a wonderful piece of Pennsylvania German history to soak up for a couple hours. Very well-maintained grounds and 19th century buildings to tour, and the staff is well-informed and gave excellent talks. Highly recommended for lovers of nature, gardens and farming, the outdoors, architecture, and colonial history.

Do not be put off that it is only a one-story Science museum! It has so much to offer with its various stations. We went on a first Friday (5 - 7 pm) when the fee is waived. It was crowded but my kids were never idle because there was always a station available for them to try and work at. The bubble station here worked very well (better than Port Discovery's) and we especially loved the sand art and the circuit table where they could figure things out themselves. There is also a small outdoor exhibit on rain barrels and recycling (reusing the water). It is a great place to visit especially if you just live near the area.

How fortunate we all to have someone of Tyler’s immense intellect point out to us that the stadium is “facing the wrong direction.” Why wasn’t this man consulted during the engineering phase?

Cashless? Does that mean not having to wait behind the person rummaging through their change purse to find 29 cents on the $3.29 bill?

Very interesting to walk through a life size replica. When I have read the measurements, I pictured it much larger than measured out for us there. Lots of interesting old testament things in the gift shop.

Tanger Outlets seem to be holding up much better than the Shops at Rockvale a mile or so down route 30, with mostly full store fronts and a who's who of national brands. We did notice though store opening hours were 10 am, Yankee Candle opened at 11 do to staffing shortages. This current administration is still paying people not to work and the store said it is a real problem finding help. This small outlet (70 stores) is well laid out and well taken care of, though can be a challenge during busy times.

We took our 8-year-old granddaughter to a recent show at the Lancaster Marionette Theatre. She's a Disney princess girl, and we weren't sure what she would think about this kind performance. She loved it! She sat in one of the front row seats, fully mesmerized by every part of the show. Later, she told us that she loved, loved, loved everything and wants to go back. We, the adults, appreciated Robert Brock's kindness in giving her some special attention with an on-stage selfie. We all enjoyed the pre-show tour of the adjoining marionette museum as well as the show.
