The train ride was very scenic with beauty around each corner. Really enjoyed the history and facts from the narrator as we made our way up and back down the tracks. Interesting area to learn about. Entire train staff were wonderful and helpful.

A fun and out of the ordinary experience that takes you through the town of Jim Thorpe and into the surrounding countryside.

My wife and I just completed the 6 day Erie Canal bike trip, and we loved it. The staff went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and provide for all our needs. We would recommend Pocono to anyone interested in this type of ride.

I've been to Pocono Whitewater several times and the staff is great! However, I was a bit disappointed on my last kayaking trip only because the website said that the trip was limited to 12 or 14 people, and my group had over 20 people in it. This meant that we often had to stop paddling and pull over to wait for the rest of the group to catch-up. Getting on the water, only to then stop and wait repeatedly, was kind of a bummer.

The rafting trips are also fun, but one bad apple in the bunch can take some of the fun away for the rest of the group. On my most recent rafting trip, there was a person who was extremely rowdy and aggressive--shouting and dumping buckets of water on complete strangers without any provocation. No matter how many times he was asked to stop, he didn't. I think what would be helpful is if the guides enacted some of kind color code system that would allow each raft to indicate whether it wants to take part in "water fights" or not.

I realize that on a rafting trip, I'm going to get wet. But there's a difference between getting splashed on the water and getting soaked by a stranger with anger issues.

We had a fantastic experience here. My husband and I were worried because we had new bikes and I read reviews of the other place in town that claimed their bikes were damaged/scratched during transit. Tom assured us that this would not happen at Blue Mountain Sports because of the way he loads bikes on the trailer and he was absolutely right! Additionally Tom drove our shuttle and he is very knowledgeable about the surrounding area...its history, its flora and fauna. Just a great, great time; we couldn't have been more satisfied. And the trail was great, too.

Excellent tour, fun, interesting and reasonable priced. I highly recommend this tour. This company also provides Wine Tours, Pub Tours, Hop on and Hop off Tours to all the historic sites and a 70 minute tour of Jim Thorpe.
My sister and I loved the tour and are telling family and friends to take the tours, when they visit Jim Thorpe. Tour guide, friendly, good sense of humor and providing interesting information about this lovely town.

Our guide was interesting, enthusiastic and informative. I really enjoyed the tour. She kept a brisk pace, so wear comfortable shoes. We started at the Jim Thorpe Inn, stopped in front of several house, the old jail, a church, and ended at the railroad It was great.

We rented scooters for a 1/2 day rental. They were extremely helpful and flexible in setting up our ride. Tom was great. They can meet you at a drop off point, but we met in the town of Jim Thorpe. We needed only a driver's license to rent and ride a scooter. We rode through town and went out Muach Chunk lake and also out to Glen Onoko (2 nearby parks). Parked in town for lunch. We don't own motorcycles, but this gave us the desire to buy either a bike or scooter. We rode midweek and the roads were fairly uncrowded. If you are not an experienced rider, as long as you stay aware of your surroundings and respect the bike, you will have a great time. It's not much harder to ride than a bycycle, but much faster!!!
