It was raining when I was there, but the rides were still open. I spent all of my time at the roller skating rink, which I enjoyed very much. The staff were exceptionally helpful and gracious with new skaters and made sure everyone stayed safe. The live organ music is a nice and unique touch.

Thank you Escape Games PDX for hosting us for a Make-A-Wish party. The wish kid and family truly had a wonderful time solving the puzzles in the Portlandia Room!

It is really just an insanely fun thing to do and we had a great time. All the staff was great - from making our reservation with Jeff, to checking in with Noah to our instructor Jordan, everyone was warm, professional, and helped make it a memorable experience. Special shout out to Jordan for his skills in making everyone feel relaxed and confident and instilling a passion for future flying expeditions.

Visiting the Moda Center from a state that serves multiple pro teams, this was a different experience. The arena definitely feels older, but it’s interesting to have it dedicated purely to one pro team. The seats, the decor, the concourse is all Trail Blazers colors and theme. At my home arena in Denver, the arena is an even mix of basketball and hockey so you never have one pure theme. It was kinda nice!

The arena itself was okay. I wish the upper level had more food and merch options, but it was okay. It’s easy to maneuver around.
All I really have to say is I’m glad we took an Uber and didn’t drive the rental car. There is parking, but it’s all ticketed and there isn’t that much garage space. People were selling parking in the area for like $60. It’s better to Uber and just find a local business to Uber back from. Our driver even told us that was best because it’s hard to pick up at the arena itself.

We had 6 people work the Hyde room, and it was somewhat challenging, but clearly not hard. I think a great starter room. Some clever ideas, and decorated nicely.

Really fun way to see the city along the river and especially the falls and locks (nonfunctional). The guides were great and entertaining. Be prepared to get really wet though as they love doing 360s to entertain and soak the guests.

I went on the overnight adventure with a friend to celebrate my birthday and it was just amazing. Highly recommend. Leo (our guide) was the best mix of being open to conversation and questions, and also allowing us to be quiet and just bask in the views. The sunset was incredible! The Perseid meteor shower was happening and we saw shooting stars with an almost unobstructed view. It was so quiet, I slept really well in the hammock (it helped having slept in my own many times before), especially with the under-quilt provided for warmth. I wish we had taken more time to appreciate the tree after we came down, because it was the star of the show! The hardest part was hiking to the tree - it's over a mile walk, uphill, with backpacks, and the second hardest part was hauling the backpack up, so if you aren't into that, skip the overnight and just come for the sunset (ie: no backpack).

Kurt (our guide) was funny, knowledgeable, and kept a good lookout for us all, without making the trip feel slow or weird.

Embark curated an amazing journey in Cusco Peru. We kicked off the trip off in the City Square in Cusco with the winter solstice and Cusco city anniversary celebrations. This was perfectly timed to soak up as much culture and color while acclimatizing before our Ausangate journey.
We started our trek at Rainbow Mountain where we took in the first of the beautiful topography in the Cusco region and a beautiful sunset.
Our guide, Claudio, was exceptional and helped to teach us about the history of the highlands, the Incas, and much more. Exploring and trekking the highlands was the highlight of the trip for me. Physically difficult hikes with beautiful views at every pass and every turn made the trip amazing and awe inspiring.
I can not wait for my next trip with Embark, they've thought of almost every detail to make your adventure a memorable and life changing experience.

Portland is very bike friendly. I booked a bike in advance and Ryan was great suggesting choices and adapting to my requirements. I brought my seat, shoes, and front rack with panniers and Miko was very helpful setting everything up for me. the bike worked well and it was great to have for getting around Portland and out to Hood River. Highly recommended.
