- Sally14 contributionsIt was raining when I was there, but the rides were still open. I spent all of my time at the roller skating rink, which I enjoyed very much. The staff were exceptionally helpful and gracious with new skaters and made sure everyone stayed safe. While we were in the water a woman not watching her dog and letting it run around came in urinated all over our lunch umbrella and blankets. Not cool people keep your dogs on leashes where they belong so others can enjoy the environment we pay for. - RSNNPortland, OR5,803 contributionsI had never seen the original Sellwhod Bridge that was built back in 1925. itt one was Portland's first fixed span bridges. The new Sellwood Bridge that replaced it recently is a deck arch style bridge. It connects the Sellwood and Westmoreland part of Portland on the east side with Macadam Avenue on the West side. The new bridge opened in February 2016.
