What travellers are saying
- PH2003Denver, CO380 contributionsVisiting the Moda Center from a state that serves multiple pro teams, this was a different experience. The arena definitely feels older, but it’s interesting to have it dedicated purely to one pro team. The seats, the decor, the concourse is all Trail Blazers colors and theme. At my home arena in Denver, the arena is an even mix of basketball and hockey so you never have one pure theme. It was kinda nice!
The arena itself was okay. I wish the upper level had more food and merch options, but it was okay. It’s easy to maneuver around.
All I really have to say is I’m glad we took an Uber and didn’t drive the rental car. There is parking, but it’s all ticketed and there isn’t that much garage space. People were selling parking in the area for like $60. It’s better to Uber and just find a local business to Uber back from. Our driver even told us that was best because it’s hard to pick up at the arena itself.Written 9 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Highly imaginative - and leave the little ones at home.Written 24 November 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jcravensPortland, OR105 contributionsHands down, this is the most Portland thing to do, and SO fun. You don't have to have ever seen a roller derby match in your life - they explain the rules every time, and it is SO exciting, even if you aren't always sure what is happening in terms of points. It will be an unforgettable experience and don't be surprised when you find yourself cheering. I've been three times and loved it every time. It's a great family activity as well - so many people bring their kids and, afterward, the kids are thrilled to go down to the side of the rink and get their hands slapped by the skaters.Written 2 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HotCornerXiamen, China137 contributionsI've been playing ball or coaching ball at Delta Park for over a decade now! The concessions stand inside the softball complex has only gotten better as time has gone by, and they now have three tvs to entertain you if you need a break from your ballgame outside. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked.Written 13 July 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- sMichaelGriffinPortland, OR4 contributionsI'm stoked on the Circuit and, judging by the every-growing crowds, lotsa other Portlandians are too. Real talk: it's so busy from 6p-8 that it's tough to train. Especially on rainy spring weekdays when everyone is sweating for their summer climbing projects / beach bods (myself included).
In conclusion: go often but go EARLY, at least until Planet Granite opens in the Pearl.Written 17 June 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Honest Parent1 contributionIf staff believes someone is not following the “rules”, especially ones that are not told to you, there is a professional way to approach a customer. This did not happen today. I felt discriminated against as others in the area were blatantly not following safety “rules” (jumping from one wall to another) and not approached at all. I am a firm believer of following rules and especially for safety. I also believe that everyone should be treated with dignity and respect.Written 26 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mark MaherPortland, OR1 contributionA great thing to do to relieve stress. The staff was great, food was awesome and most especially I enjoyed the axe throwing activity. At first, it was a bit scary but no, it's safe and fun!Written 27 January 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
