The Pittock Mansion, once home to publisher Henry Pittock, is a beautiful mansion and property in Portland. This historic estate has early 20th-century architecture and history on the Pittock family's legacy. The real highlight, though, is the panoramic view—it’s one of the best spots to take in the entire city of Portland. A perfect mix of history, beauty, and breathtaking scenery! So much history here.

At the top of the big pink bank building is a great bar with a good selection of food at the City Grill Happy Hour (4-7) with generous pours of wine and mohitos. Lovely view of the city and Willamett River activity and several bridges. Nice intro to the Rose City.

A government office building in the middle of Portland. It looks interesting as there is a sculpture sitting in the mid section of the building. Very easy to spot if you are in the town.

The Koin Building is a very impressing and Unique building in Portland's skyline. It is so unique that it is easily picked out among all the other buildings downtown. And a beautiful on at that with its distinctive indigo colored pyramid top.

I always feel good when I see this KOIN Tower lancing the skyline. And yet it is a peaceful and calming tower. I can't help but thinking-- It's where the NEWS comes from.

I saw a single building at the address that had a Lebanese restaurant and offices. The picture is of a hotel not a private residence for the bishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese. It is privately owned and constructed in Gothic style. The building had a library, the Archbishop's living quarters. Bishop's House was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

An ordinary city hall, which was a little bit smaller than I expected. It is very close to Portlandia.

During weekends enjoy the flea market, very nice handcrafts at accesible prices.

After your strolling along the market, I strongly recommend reaching to the restaurant/bar on top the Tower,

This is a lovely house put on the national registry in 2009. The house was thought important in 1991. It is a grand house in Colonial Revival style built in 1906. I do not know who she was or what she did. You can look at the outside, the house is privately owned and can be used for educational purposes. But I can not find anywhere that it is open to the public. But the entire neighborhood is wonderful.

Built in 1891 by architects Whidden & Lewis in the Colonial Revival style in the Alphabet Historic District. Lovely, privately owned and really sad is that it apparently has been divided into 4 units. Deemed significant in 1980. Nice walk, Nice neighborhood. There are 128 historically relevant building still standing in Portland and you can find info on them at our historic places, Portland Oregon.

Just a short walk from Pioneer Square. We saw the front and back of the bank and both were impressive. The outside has some grear architecture. We just wish we were able to go inside but it was closed
