We had the absolute pleasure of hosting an Italian cooking class with Chef Renato. He came to our home, and we invited three other couples to join us. Some cook, some don’t, but we all love good food. What an experience. From the moment he walked through the door, Chef Renato was the star of the show. He brought all the food and special equipment required. Everyone had a blast, Chef Renato educated us about each ingredient and kept us engaged with his entertaining personality. More importantly, we each took part in preparing every dish, giving the non cooks the confidence they could recreate the dishes at home. Hs recipes were simple, and brought out the subtle flavors of the ingredients. The food we prepared was amazing. His wine pairing recommendations were equally incredible. Cannot recommend a cooking class with Chef Renato highly enough. Weeks later, everyone is still raving about the experience. Date night, team building, or just want to know more about Italian cooking, book a class with Chef, you won’t regret it.

We booked a private "date night" glass blowing activity for my husband's birthday. It was such an interesting and fun activity. We had a number of projects to choose from and had an amazing hands on experience making our own drinking glasses. We are both hooked and can't wait for our next visit! We plan to bring our whole family for a holiday project. The staff was friendly and super accommodating, which made for a wonderful experience.

Finding a private Sushi class mid week in Portland is a challenge and Chef Steven came thru in amazing fashion! We had a group of 16 people, two tables of eight.
One table made rolls and the other sashimi. The quality of product and instruction was bar none! Chef has traveled the world and experienced so many cuisines and is so engaging, our team had the best night and would highly recommend Chef Steven for any group, cuisine and class.

Oh and the chocolate, amazing. We went as part of a Forktown Food Tour, the people working there were really friendly and helpful. We learned a lot and went back after the tour and bought a bag full of salts and chocolates.

I took my niece as a birthday gift. It was fun and informational. It is a bit too expensive for the time and information we received. However, we had a great time together and that was our objective.

Attended the knife skills and the salads classes. Learned a ton and ate a ton. Attend with friend or your main squeeze. Secondary squeeze would be fine too! I came solo and totally fit in. Really good experience and used my new learned skills immediately at home. The instructors were super friendly.

My wife and I picked a class, and arrived a little early to secure secure some liquid courage! Provided with all the materials - apron, brushes, paint and a glass of wine, we thoroughly enjoyed the two hour experience following the leader session and were pleasantly surprised at the resulting paintings. Our first but certainly not last and we look forward to returning.

My friend and I came here on a Friday afternoon without reservations and they had space for us. The staff was super helpful in getting us set up and checking in on us because we had lots of questions. The best part is that you can do whatever you want and use whatever you need. I made a string art map and the directions said it was a 3-4 hour project and it took me 3.5. This is because you start with planks of wood, screw them together, paint to the color of your choosing and then trace your pattern, add nails and then string. It’s a fun atmosphere but my friend and I were very relaxed and loved it! I can’t wait to go back.

Sherri has done a great job at selecting some great eats for the tour. I know a little bit more about the history of places we went to and some general history of Portland too. I really enjoyed myself and I would go back to each spot to try more of what they have to offer. Also, I highly recommend the food tour.

I used to regularly take NIA classes a few years ago and then moved to a place where there are no NIA classes available. I jumped at the chance to take a class while in Portland, and am so happy I did. Beautiful studio and really nice people!
