- LeaHouston, TX167 contributionsMy experience here was a pleasant one!
I was looking for something relaxing for my boyfriend and I to enjoy for our trip to Portland during August of 2022 and found this little gem on the Mindbody app. I had booked the springs visit, so it was $59 per person for a 90 minute visit. This includes getting access to the springs, sauna, steam, hot tub, and cold plunge. When we got to the facility, there was street parking available, and the entrance was fairly easy to find. The ladies at the front were nice and professional, giving us the necessary materials to check-in and then gave us the run down on how the facility works. We got these cute waterproof wristbands that gave us access to our lockers, where we were able to store all our belongings, and it could fit a lot to be honest. We were planning to have a full day exploring that day, so we packed ahead for those that are wanting to do the same. You're instructed to wash off first before heading to the springs, where they do have a large sign in the middle with instructions on how to navigate the areas. For example, you'll do the tepidarium first then hit the caladium (hot tub) next; followed by the cold plunge then the sauna. However, you can essentially go to whatever springs you want in any order.
There is also a water bar up front, where you can hydrate, and then even a nice outdoor patio to relax and rest. We definitely felt like jello after our visit here; calm, collected, and rejuvenated!Written 18 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Went for my first time and it was great - the coffee shop and yoga studio above have great vegan and gluten-free options as well! I would definitely recommend going for your first time here with a friend so you can get a free pass for your first day. Great beginner and advances courses to try out!Written 8 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Beth J1 contributionI love the owner, Lauren, and all the staff at Yoga to You. They know their stuff, and are the only people I’ve ever found that reliably correct postures, etc so that I don’t get injured or do poses incorrectly. What’s the point if you’re doing it wrong? There is no “woo-woo” stuff in these classes - no chanting or extra attention on loud breathing. Just my style. A nice namaste and a sealing of practice at the end. I highly recommend this business!Written 29 August 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SouthernBelles98Alpharetta, GA952 contributionsWhile visiting a friend in Portland we wanted to do some yoga and signed up for one of morning classes at the Burnside location which is a woman owned business. It’s definitely best to reserve ahead of time. We couldn’t believe how packed the class was for a Monday morning but learned most of the students were regulars who enjoyed Audra’s classes, who is also one of the owners. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Once the class got going I could see why people keep coming back to this studio - there was a positive and inspiring message that went along with a challenging yet not overwhelming class. I left feeling very uplifted and centered and committed to continuing taking yoga classes once I got back home! I look forward to visiting again in the future.Written 1 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
