- Jon131313Great Falls, VA147 contributionsI took this tour on a beautiful Fall day, led by Wayne, and it exceeded my expectations. The entire day was really easy and relaxing, and Wayne was an incredible guide. He knows the Portland area and the Willamette Valley very well, and shared his knowledge with the group throughout the day. He was insightful but also attentive to our needs, and did a great job of getting the group to bond together, which made it even more enjoyable, especially as I was doing this tour by myself. And, he selected three vineyards that were all different and unique, but with nice tastings that we all enjoyed. It was clear the vineyards knew Wayne, and gave us their personal attention. This does not seem accessible but I’d call to confirm that to be sure they don’t have accommodations but it’s old tunnels so stairs and holes in the dirt floor. Not too much walking. It was actually a bit warm down there and it was a cool night (about 60 something). I would have loved a few more ghost or creepy stories but the history was interesting and obviously ghost stories need a bit of “this person heard or felt or saw this in this place” or they’re not as fun. Free beer sample at the end and we were able to grab a can for “free” of their beer or even cider or non alcoholic beverage. He makes everything enjoyable and has a great sense of humor. - Martyn H1 contributionPhil, our tour guide, was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the area and a mine of useful information. He was professional, friendly and made our tour. Good town for lunch stop with many reasonable dining options. The pace of the tour was just right, never feeling rushed or needing more time. Our tour had only four people which meant little time spent boarding and un-boarding the van. The wineries were welcoming and made you feel as part of their total experience in the W V. The Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Rose’s were excellent—- mostly crisp and dry— just the way I like them! Eric was a gem and so knowledgeable! I loved the chosen wineries. I learned so much about the Oregon wine industry and Pinot Noir. - Fearless686659311271 contributionKen and his wife Tamara were the perfect guides for our weekend wine tasting get away in the Willamette Valley. They were fantastic story tellers and they educated us about the wines, the wineries, the restaurants, and the local community.
It was a pleasure spending time with them and learning about the Oregon wine industry.

He was great, funny, got us to and from the wineries safely and was just fun to be around! Niko made our wine tasting tour in the Willamette Valley memorable. I highly recommend his services to anyone.
