We had a great time walking around and looking at the local artist’s work. I even got a cool bracelet! I saw some reviews saying it was in a bad area. We felt unsafe. We parked in a parking garage about 2 blocks away for only $3.

The Skidmore Market is right next to the Saturday Market. Supposedly the vendors for the Skidmore import their items. They are not all made in Oregon.

I did see some more kitschy items, but whatever. If you like something, I'd buy it!

I recently visited the Multnomah French Quarter . When exploring cities I always like to check out places a little off the beaten path to get more of the local vibe and this place was perfect for that. They had a bunch of food carts outside which included, sushi, Lebanese, Mexican and Laotian plus beer and wine. I got the Laotian food and my husband got the sushi, both were unbelievable! Also, unlike a lot of food cart pods in Portland, they had indoor seating which was nice since it was raining. The inside is so cute, they've made it look like a French street, hence the name "The French Quarter" and it's filled with a bunch of adorable boutiques such a jewelry, soap, tea, art, candy and plants. The soap store sold "Portland" soap and I bought a few to bring back to family.

Along with all this charm and great food, it was clean and warm. I can't recommend this place enough.

We went on a Saturday and saw any and everything you could imagine for sale. Colorful patterns, wine tasting, jewelry and food, food, food, and very affordable! It was too crowded for me to take it all in....I wanna go back tho!! This city is eclectic, groovy and a stone gas honey!!

This Moon Market is small but worth a visit. Lots of local artistry talent participates. Prices are reasonable. The vendors are more than willing to talk to you about their art and their creative methods. Friendly local people. Sustainability methods are obvious to most. Enjoyable afternoon. Vendors are both indoors and outside. Masks are required.

Free event! Excellent local vendors, lots of fun samples, great vibe with a DJ, tons of gluten free food and dessert options! It’s like Saturday Market, but indoors! Bracelets for Over 21 to enjoy beer and wine and spirits. The teenagers loved the event too! I left with several purchases.
