He expertly drove to all the sights on winding mountain roads and through city traffic, saving us the trouble and making us feel very safe. He also took time to take everyone’s pictures at each stop. Tour guide / driver was friendly and knowledgeable. - Danielle C12 contributionsThe tour company was able to give us a meeting place since we weren't staying at a hotel, and Phoebe picked us up on time and ready to roll.
There were 11 or 13 people on the tour with us, and we were comfortably seated in a lovely van. Phoebe told us some of the history and information behind the landmarks as we drove to the different destinations. We had plenty of time to explore each one, and we all enjoyed our time. Our part consisted of parents in their 40's, two 23 year old, a 20 year old, and a 17 year old. Thus is a great excursion idea for a family. She was very informative, knowledgeable, friendly, energetic, and quick to offer great recommendations for the best spots during the tour and for exploring the city afterward.
The tour was fantastic, filled with stunning natural beauty, many impressive tall waterfalls. Even though not all the trees had turned autumn colors yet, the views were breathtaking. Every stops offers amazing angles and natural lighting, ideal for photo enthusiasts.
I would definitely recommend this tour with Wildwood Adventures. Was thankful I had a jacket that zipped up around my neck! Hand were cold on bikes as well. But by 1pm it warmed up nicely. Easy to find - great tips before we set off. Megan was very accommodating and professional. She was kind enough to bring her basket so our pug could come along. We stopped at one winery. My brother in-law even bought a case of wine! He is also well prepared and gotten us to catch sunset right on time. Good town for lunch stop with many reasonable dining options. The pace of the tour was just right, never feeling rushed or needing more time. Our tour had only four people which meant little time spent boarding and un-boarding the van. - Tlhink1 contributionAwesome orientation to Portland! Our guide, Marcus, was very knowledgeable about Portland’s history. It was nice to drive through neighborhoods and get acquainted with Portland. Especially loved the international Rose test garden! The views were amazing at pock mansion.
