Multnomah Falls is a stunning waterfall and the tallest in Oregon. I visited in the evening, and even though the lodge was closed, there was plenty of space in the lot on Columbia River Highway. That lot is paid parking, but there is a free lot accessible from Interstate 84 (though reservations are needed between 9 AM-6 PM during the summer). Any way you get there, this is a beautiful site, and worth the drive.

Hiked this with my brother over the summer. He is not the avid hiker that I am, so we needed something moderate, but still worthwhile, and Angel's Rest seemed to fit the bill. It's only five miles or so RT, with around 1500 feet of elevation gain. A workout, but not overwhelming for middle-aged desk jockeys. The trail itself is only mildly interesting, but the views at the top are spectacular, as advertised. The trail was somewhat busy, even on a weekday. There's not a lot of parking at the trailhead, and this area can get warm on a hot summer's day. I recommend an early hike, or late afternoon evening, for the cooler temps.

We started our day hopping into the waterfall trolley, at the time it seem like a voodoption for us, long story short, we miss the last trolley back to the depot and end it up stranded just thinking what could we do to avoid the long walk back, in that very moment Keenan from Sasquatch shuttle appear looking for some passengers he was supposed to pick up there
We explained our situation to him and he offered to take us back to our car, he went far and beyond to give us a hand in exchange for a good review, but honestly, what else can you say about someone who who goes out of his way to help you out.
thank you so much Keenan, next time you come to visit the falls, give Sasquatch a call. They are the best , specially Keenan, thanks brother 🙏🙏🙏🙏 God Bless you
