In a lovely setting in the historic village of Biddenden. Lovely views of countryside around. Has a very pretty churchyard.

Just the place for relieving those lockdown blues. A wide open space under open skies. A great area for walking your dog or just yourself. There's lovely views of All Saints Church. There's benches for sitting and ample parking. If you don't know where it is, when driving through the village follow signs to the Recreation Ground

Situated in the graveyard at the east end of All Saints Church, the Biddenden War Memorial has an ornate Celtic wheel cross on its top, with a Celtic knotwork design on the shaft supporting the cross and also on the arms of the cross. Two metal plaques list the names of those killed in the First and Second World Wars. There were 31 fatalities in World War I and 16 in the Second World War. Of the 31 First World War casualties, two were brothers. The were both serving in The Buffas (East Kent) Regiment, they were both aged 20 when they died and whilst one brother is buried in the Pas de Calais region of France, the other has no known grave. Of the 16 Second World War casualties, four were civilians and, of those four, two were a husband and wife. They were probably the victims of a V1 rocket and whilst the husband died at home, his wife died a few days later in hospital.

This was our first visit to Chart Hills Golf Club when we recently attended a function. The surroundings were very pleasant indeed. The room were the function was held was well laid out. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful the food was good. A very pleasant evening was enjoyed by all present.

bought spa seekers vouchers last summer for a 40th birthday gift and was so excited to visit this spa.
Unfortunately on calling them directly to enquire on available dates, was greeted with some confusion and stress over the spa now changing hands and being renovated. I was even told the previous owner 'had my money ' which was quite stressful. spa seekers confirmed this not to be the case. after chasing and waiting for weeks on further information I have had to transfer my vouchers to a different spa. shocking customer service just over phone and email so who knows what it's like in person! I will never know as they are shocking at communication! avoid!
