What travellers are saying
- Emma LCornwall, UK105 contributionsThis place was a great find. So much to do and lots of space. Staff were friendly. Lovely animals to see and pet.
Go karts were a hit with the kids as well as the climbing bales and trampolines outside.
The only downside which isn’t really the parks fault was the amount of children piling into the soft play and bullying going on. I wasn’t happy with my 6 year old in there while watching other kids punch and kick others and no parents taking responsibility of their kids. They never known a soft play so bad for it. Maybe they could have staff on the soft play monitoring it or limit the number of children inside.

- Emma BraunWellingborough, UK92 contributionsA lovely little place set in a beautiful location. They have a great collection of reptiles including snakes, geckos, terrapins, skinks etc. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. - ViaBenGreater London, UK902 contributionsSmall, short, wooden pier, with great views of the village, the Solent, and the mainland. No rides, no arcades, no tackiness, no food, just a pleasant and relaxing walk, a few signs explaining its history, and (regulated?) fishing.Written 5 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Melanie YHavant, UK4 contributionsIt is a bit dated but this is reflected in the entrance fee. My son who's 9 is really into his planets and all things space. He really enjoyed the visit Well worth the money. I wanted to try this out before taking him to the London Planetarium.Written 19 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marianne CBurnham, UK916 contributionsChoose pick up Yarmouth or Newtown in the centre of the island. For usYarmouth tons better and avoids cycling along those narrow windy IOW hilly roads!
Suggest you phone in advance to book.
Friendly service, ÂŁ45 pp for the day, extend it by taking coffee at the old station pick up spot. Then delivery cycling oaths down to the coast then west to the Needles.

I started with the air rifle shooting for one hour as a warm up, aiming at static targets (SO FUN) , deffinately worth the extra ÂŁ22 if you book a clay session. Or even on its own - super quiet and no recoil so excellent for kids/beginners.
Then went on to the main event, the clay pigeon shooting. Amazing coach who really knew her stuff and has a few competitions under her belt! Made sure it wasnt getting to easy and really kept it super challenging but also really fun!
I will definitely be returning to top targets and I strongly recommend everyone gives it a go!
Big thanks to the staff what an amazing day!

First travelling out past the Needles and beyond, a lovely fresh morning to be out at sea. Lee (Skipper) introduced himself and took care of me all day to get me fishing, he knows what he's doing and speaks with a lot of knowledge not to mention he's a top bloke.
The day went really well, some great fish landed on the boat, I was very impressed as I'd not seen these fish and some sharks in the wild before. ;-) .. I'm looking at more dates to go out, a trouble free and very enjoyable day out, met some really great people and had a briliant time. I even got to take home me Tea. I can highly recommend you try a day out on the Sea with Lee. I'm certainly going back.
My top tip for the day if your out in Autumn/Winter, wear your layers and take some Ginger Nuts.Written 11 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We love these open-top buses; you see so much, and a friendly, pleasant driver like Grant keeps the smiles and laughs going.Written 16 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Margaret JSherborne, UK50 contributionsWe went on the chairlift to Alum Bay, the place with the multi coloured sand. We took a boat trip to the Needles, they are much much bigger close to, they are awesome. The chairlift was fun, I’ve been on similar in Switzerland and Austria!Written 2 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Trail111720370639 contributionsA brilliant trip to the Needles. The boat is basic but comfortable and there are toilets and a bar on board. There was an excellent commentary pointing out things of interest and giving more information about the area. The wind was a bit stronger than anticipated but the captain was experienced, warning us about choppy water in advance and adjusting his speed to the sea conditions. Safety was taken very seriously, our trip had been cancelled the day before and on this occasion we were not able to get up close to the Needles or round into Scratchell's Bay but we were taken right over to Hurst Castle on the way home. It was a lovely afternoon and I would thoroughly recommend it.Written 27 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
