A very nice walk around with statues and items to look at. Went during winter hours so not everything was open but was good enough that we will come back.

This museum is a true gem if you've an interest in historical aircraft.

The main/entry building is fine on it's own, and what I expected from an air museum in relatively small town.

But the second hangar, which requires an escort, is utterly amazing.

It is definately a quality over quantity experience.

Hurricane. Spitfire. Wildcat. Plus at least a handful more.

These aircraft are airworthy and, as I understand it, the aircraft leave for various airshows-- so consider calling ahead and asking what might be missing.

My guide was both enthusiastic and well-informed, which made the visit even better.

Depending on your interest in WW2 era aircraft, this could be a must-see destination.

Nice little zoo that has had some upgrades. Good to see their cats have more room. Kids love to feed the common sheep goats and chickens. Very good for younger even in winter

Decent mall with a target and an arcade and a small food court. Good Barnes and nobles and has a 5 and below store with cheaper items.

Nice place to spend an hour or two walking or relaxing. They have quite a few picnic areas, a huge playground, a nice shaded asphalt trail through the trees where you really feel you are away from it all (with a camping area toward one end). When we went (September) there was a farmer's market. There were ducks and geese in the water. The place was clean; no garbage around - plenty of places to throw trash. If you just need a nice break in the day - go for it!

We took a chance on this museum and weren't expecting much. Boy were we surprised! This doesn't look like much on the outside and is only open for a few hours on Saturdays. But it's actually a really cool old railway building and PERFECT for our 3 boys under age five! The upper level has a kids area with tons of Thomas trains and activities. The main level has lots of interactive displays and wonderful volunteers. But the basement you can't miss. Huge model train display! We hope to come back soon.

My kids, ages 6 and 8, really enjoyed going here. We had pulled them out of school to go on a little road trip on our week off. So we went on a Thursday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. There were a few toddlers roaming around, but my kids got to really try out all of the areas. I thought it was a little pricey, but once I got in a saw how much there was, I could see the value in the cost. I wasn't sure if my 8 year old would be too old to get anything out of it, but she also loved it. She was worried that it would be "for babies". My son especially loved the play structure with the plane at the top. My daughter loved the music room and lights room. I think if parents or grandparents are looking for somewhere to take their kids for a few hours, this is the place to go. There are benches to sit down. I don't know how busy it gets on weekends, but I'm glad we went during the week so we could really explore. It's a great place to have in Minot, especially during the cold months when kids need to let out some energy.

I stayed in Minot for one night after visiting the International Peace Garden and I'm very glad I did. I spent hours walking around downtown, visiting bars, their upbeat and artistic downtown area, and the wonderful Scandinavian Heritage Village.
I'm looking forward to visiting Minot again.

My son swam here every day with the Minot swim club, and we went there several times while it was open to the public as well. It's not the most exciting pool ever, but its what the area had and its very affordable.

We visited from nearby Ryder, ND.
My husband and I saw “The Elves and the Shoemaker”. The show was good, wholesome fun. The cast is made up of local talent, adults and children. The concession stand offers a variety of pop and bottled water, coffee, hot tea, popcorn and candy at reasonable prices. I recommend utilizing concession and restrooms prior to showtime as they were very busy during intermission. We purchased our tickets online. Tickets are exchangeable up until showtime for a different day/time if need be. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have wheelchair accessible seating up front, near the stage. All seats seem to have a good view of the stage. I would recommend this for small groups, couples, and families.

There is not too many places to find a nice nature walk around Minot. River walk of Minot gives you a trail through Roosevelt Park and crosses a bridge to give a nice stroll through quaint city streets surrounded by turn of the century homes. The river can be loaded with algae and not always pleasant. But there are other views to make the walk worthwhile.

Even local art lovers visit the Taube infrequently unless there is an exhibit by a special artist. Parking is the main problem, followed by the fact the "museum" is more like a smaller gallery. It's fun to do on an off-weather day if you're downtown nearby, otherwise there are more exciting things to see and do. If you've been to high-end art museums, don't get your hopes up for the Taube.

Our last visit to St. Leo's was during a period of renovation a few years ago and this is a church not to be missed. The interior is stunning with great colors and lighting that highlights the works of art on the alter. Thanks to the KofC Council 9906 for the coffee and donuts and to Fr. Crane for taking time to visit with us!
