Lots of great wines to try in a pleasant atmosphere, and a nice view of the lake while you're enjoying your wine. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Worth a stop.

Friendly owners and servers in a homey space. Their wine tasting is very cost effective. We enjoyed trying the different wines on their very large menu. Really liked the Boca Noir and the blueberry wines. Cute dogs too!

On a late morning while in the Finger Lake District, we decided to visit one of the local dairies, the Lively Run Dairy. It was offering cheese tastings, and cheese would be the perfect appetizer to an afternoon lunch. Now, cows can be fairly mundane and boring to observe, but goats are true characters and fun to watch.

First the cheese tasting and then seeing the goats. We were served a long platter and along one side were six different goat cheeses; most of them soft, one blue, a cheddar, and others. Down the other side of the platter were six cow cheeses. The tray came with some crackers, but one could also request the addition of dried fruit or chocolate. All the cheeses were delicious. The shop offered a fridge with cheeses to purchase and a shelf with other local gourmet items. We enjoyed the tasting and bought some cheese, but we really wanted to visit the goats in a side barn.

The barn had sections of different goats and we could walk down a raised central area to view them all. Our first encounter was with one who begged for a chin tuck and any that approached the fence we were welcome to pet and get to know. A hand-washing station was nearby, for when we were done. Some seemed to know a camera and posed offering their best side.

There are about 200 different breeds of goat, and not all the pens had name tags, so it was hard to know which breed we were looking at, but my best guess was that there were Anglo-Nubian, Saanen, Boer, Lamancha, Alpine, and Toggenburg goats, although there was at least one Angora goat. Several breeds were grouped together and they seemed to get along fine. One white one was obviously pregnant. Another seemed to have the skill of undoing a gate and pulling it open with its mouth. Others were too busy eating straw. A baby goat frolicked about and entertained us. The cheese was really good, but watching the goats was even better.

This was the best wine tasting that we have had in years!!! Mark, the wine maker, shared his expertise and passion for the wine that he creates!!. We were a diverse group, fron Canada, Pennsylvania and New York. He was warm, friendly and gave us a very enjoyable tasting. We will definitely be back soon. Please give them a visit!!

I really enjoyed the cider here and loved the grounds. The view is nice and there are outdoor games to play. I did not have anything to eat. The staff were kind and helpful in choosing our cider for tasting. I have not had much cider before but definitely enjoyed the experience.

We were nearby (Lively Run Goat Dairy) and saw Airy Acres was very close so we decided to check them out. The winery is very new and is being run by the grandson of the original owners of the farm. The house is being transformed to a tasting area and we look forward to seeing it next year. As for the wines, we enjoyed them all except the Lemberger, but that's just a matter of personal preference. Nice origin story, excellent wines.

A well kept cemetery and is kept up by volunteers. We saw Rod Serling's resting place. It was a short drive from our B&B

Our girlā€™s (40 & 60+ years old! Never too old!) vacation was phenomenal! We spent 5 days at the ranch house, which is close to the stables. Wake up to horses grazing šŸŽ outside the kitchen window. We rode every day, new experiences, different beautiful trails. Nature at its finest and bonding with the horses canā€™t be beat! Couldnā€™t ask for a better vacation :-)
