And if you believe variety is the spice of life, this place has it. Power only during the winter and the restrooms are closed, but I knew that and was prepared. We drove and drove around some more...it was super packed....but got some great gifts...Oakley store was a hit and we purchased and the guy could not have been any nicer. Hollister was a good stop also purchasing a lot. Be sure and go to The Cheese Cake Factory at an off time as the wait in an hour at lunch time. The 3 mile trail loop is especially nice, covered by overhanging trees and along both the River and lake. Was able to a learn alot about early pioneer and settlers of Valley Junction or Wes Des Moines. Interesting to learn how they lived, decorated their homes, involved in cattle farming and crop farming, and members of the underground railroad moment of slaves in Iowa. Nice to see how the generations of Jordan still support the landmark house. If you wanna sit in comfy chairs or be in state of art arena, this isnt your place. but if you want the music to rattle the wood floor under your feet and to feel like you are able to reach out and touch the performers on stage, THIS is your place! They are next to a brew pub called the Hall and it was trivia night so parking was kind of a nightmare.

Inside it's a different story. It's modern church with the altar almost in the middle.
The interior design is very interesting and not very typical for other catcholic churches.
There is a stylish Cross hanged almost above the altar.
The entrance is very colorful with mini water pond, many plants and sculpture of St Francis.
I've liked this church very much.
I recommend this place not only for Sunday mass.
