Good trip. We arrived at approximately 9:30 am and made our way inside the main building. The tickets were pricey and cost 19 dollars for each adult. We received a quick overview of the property and went on our way. We opted to view the town site first. There were roughly a dozen buildings located throughout the town, that contained artifacts out for display. The artifacts were meant to symbolize what life was like in the the 1870’s. There were employees located in several of the buildings, who were able to provide more insight about life during that time period. We were also able to see demonstrations in the printing press building and the broom making building. There were informational plaques located in several of the buildings as well, which went more into depth about what we were seeing in front of us. There was quite a bit of walking involved, as the buildings were pretty spaced apart.

After touring the town site, we opted to view the farm site. We waiting in a short line for the next available tractor to take us to the farm site. The tractor ride lasted roughly 10 minutes and we were dropped off at a 1700 themed farm. There were additional employees providing demonstrations and insight about the various forms of farming equipment used during that decade. We were also able to view a farm house and see different types of animals roaming around. We followed the walking path, and made our way through an 1850 themed farm and a 1900 themed farm. Once we were done sightseeing, we made our way towards the pickup point, where we waited for the tractor to take us back to the visitor center.

Tip: I recommend spending 3 hours here if you truly want to see everything.

The casino escape room was so fun! The clues were very helpful and we all had a great time! The staff was welcoming and quick with their responses and clues.

Winter in the Great plains I can remember growing up playing hockey out in the backyard when we emptied water to freeze over the grass.
A nice night for developmental hockey... fun... Players are trying to get college scholarships..plus training for referees and coaches.. It's been around for 41 years.... plenty of participants went on to college teams and the NHL. A really great place for families. It's easy to see that you could take a large group to the game and have a good time there is about 10 of us. We don't really drink too much anymore but everybody has a beer there's some great craft beers there. You can also get mixed drinks. And simple food like popcorn pizza and there's some other food you can get there too hot dogs etc. Bring a pad to sit on, and make sure you dress warm. It's a really classic old arena where you can enjoy a nice winter's night.

I see this store demonstrating at the big home remodeling shows downtown. I have worked with its employees one time to buy and install a set of children's playground equipment for a church. The equipment was top notch. The installation was perfect. It cost a lot of money. If you want the best, then this is the store to go shop.

We came upon this by accident .. because as we are often .. we were lost. But, turned out to be a good thing. We passed it, and had no idea what it was. Google to the rescue. We went back and looked it during the day, but after reading about it, and finding out that it's lit up at night, we had to go back. And it was a bonus because there was almost a full moon that night. I am attaching a picture, and not great because taken with my phone, but still a pretty sight.

If I were in the area, this would be a great place to sit and read and enjoy the beauty of the area with the water nearby.

We had to park in the parking lot of the business nearby, as there is nowhere on the road to park. It was a short walk to the tower though, and our granddaughter even enjoyed the visit and nite and was taking her own pictures with the moon in the background.
