The 360 was a fun stop -- chose to do it the morning of our first full day to get a view of everywhere we were going to walk....it was a nice clear day so that helped. We did the Tilt -- it wasn't too crowded so not a long wait. it was fun, even though a bit of the "touristy" side to it. My friends and I absolutely loved the city. It has great food, amazing buildings and last but not least, Sue the dinosaur. It was built 100 years ago (1923-25) in an amazing neo Gothic style. It has a fab location on the plaza just after the Dusable bridge, adding to its beauty.
Pay attention to unique worldwide stones embedded into its facade, each one is marked. Enter the lobby and admire it - further you cannot go.

The clock tower is clearly visible from many areas along the river and Magnificent Mile. - Xamot TomaxFort Wayne, IN5,972 contributionsPicked up a few Christmas gifts at the Lego Store. My nephews are Lego fanatics. The prices are higher up, but the vast selection makes up for it. Looking at some of them makes me wish I was a kid again. The rest of the mall has many restaurants on each floor. Recent production we saw was Alice. The artists are true professionals that create unique experiences. - Lois C4 contributionsMy husband and I visited Chicago for our 55th wedding anniversary trip. It was our first vacation since COVID, and we have always wanted to see the city. We stayed in the Hampton Inn hotel in the theater district. It was very convenient to public transportation and was in walking distance to many attractions. We had some cold rainy weather which prevented us from taking the Sunday boat tour to hear the history of the architecture of the buildings, but we went to the Field Museum, had a Chicago style hotdog, visited Navy Pier, Millennium Park, Cloud Gate, tour of Wrigley Field, and had a delicious deep dish pizza. We spent a wonderful day at the Chicago Art Institute, as well. The Skydeck in the Willis Tower was a highlight for us both! - Bee80204Denver, CO3,830 contributionsWas on the bus tour when I decided to get off and walk along the Magnificent Mile. I saw the lovely architecture of the church and decided to cross the street to get a closer look. The church has been around since 1914 and has a lot of its original interior and exterior. And the architect of the church was Ralph Adams Cram, America’s leading Gothic revival architect. It is a pairing of English and French Gothic styles. Another architect designed the parish buildings surrounding an inner courtyard in a Tudor style - Howard Van Doren Shaw. There was a concert when I went in and it was lovely to sit in the pews and listen to the talented musicians. The carvings were exquisite as were the stained glass windows. The chandeliers hanging overhead cast a soft warm glow over the seats. They were not necessary at that time of day since the windows let in a good amount of light. It was nice to wander in the inner courtyard. - dmarie208Chicago, IL63 contributionsI've been to the Broadway Playhouse several times, and it is always a delight. I greatly appreciated Millionaire's assistance - she helped us with some seating issues related to my mom's mobility issues.
The play was incredibly charming! It's slapstick comedy, which we enjoy, and it was almost as much fun watching other peoples' reactions as watching the play!
I appreciate that the masking policy is still in place.

The design of the mall is quite nice and it was spotless when I walked through it. Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and there was a very sparse crowd (good for us, but not for the merchants) and the food court was an excellent selection of cuisines. If you go, you must try the TopGolf Swing Suite (6th floor). - Bee80204Denver, CO3,830 contributionsFancying a walk in a luxury department store, I entered 900 North Michigan Shops when I saw the Bloomingdale’s sign. Venturing into the beauty section I sampled the lipsticks with help from the sales associate and took advantage of the free gift offer and made a purchase. I love MAC cosmetics, especially their lipsticks so I was excited that I could indulge my weakness.
The rest of the store was just as pleasant to walk through and admire the merchandise. There were lovely displays including a flower cart where a fragrance purchase qualifies you for a lovely bouquet.
