First we saw it during our 90 min architectural boat tour. The guide stated many hard to believe figures about its construction in terms of miles of wiring, concrete used, window numbers,...etc and that until recently this building only had its own zip number.
Tomorrow we walked the Riverwalk and standing in front of it felt like ants.

We had a lovely buffet of salmon, chicken stir fry, several salads, fruit, and cookies. Then we watched an Ikebana demonstration with bamboo used as containers and material. Parishioners welcoming of guests, peaceful service and great homily (by pastor of the church, father Joe). - Neta_AviviTel Aviv, Israel3,546 contributionsBeautiful gallery. When I visited they had two wonderful exhibitions. The first artist was Phyllis Bramson and the second was Dennis Lee Mitchell. Both were very impressive but I personally loved the second better. Dennis Lee Mitchell's exhibition "Smoke Remains" is a unique art in black and white. It's a huge hall with high ceilings, vast spaces, easy-on the ears acoustics, and plntiful supplies of low to medium quality coffee, Danish and sandwich options. For someone like me who has mobility challenges it requires WAY too much walking, but there are wheelchair and electric cart options, so no complaints. There are 70 names on the list and was crated by Chicago Artist Adam Brooks. All of his artwork has to do with text. It is a must see while you are in town!!! We were pleasantly surprised with how big the barrel was - we got the 22-person and had about 17 onboard. Very spacious and the seats were comfy. Our driver Ted was wonderful and picked us up at our designated location with ease. We stopped at a couple breweries and 1 distillery - places we wouldn't typically go.
