This tour is good because you can see things from the L platforms that you can't see from the streets. Quentin's knowledge of Chicago history was remarkable. - Jack L3 contributionsOur favorite part of this tour was our tour guide, Tom. He was extremely pleasant, very knowledgeable and, most of all, very accommodating. As I enjoy taking a lot of pictures when I visit a new town, Tom told me to take as many as I wanted and not to hurry. My wife and I learned all about the history of the loop as well as the details of many of the buildings that surround the area. We were able to tour many of the buildings on the inside which added a great deal to the overall experience. It was especially fun to take a short ride on the elevated train as part of the tour. Money well spent, we enjoyed our brews, as Tom spins yarn about the historic pubs we visited! Also accommodated us by starting earlier as we had play tickets early that evening.
