My cousin andI were in Chicago for a few days and decided to give this boat tour a try sounded fun. I purchased tickets on Groupon as they were buy one get one, I would not have paid full price for a half hour ride. Our tour guide I believe here name was Maliea and she was amazing, she normally does the 75 minute architecture tour but this day she did Seadog tour. She was very informative as well as kept tour fun, made us laugh.
Depends on where you sit you may get a bit wet or sprayed by boat mist. We were told sit mid boat on isle for less wetness, we got a bit wet but not bad. It was a decent ride, stopped 2 times and floated to listen to talk about buildings and local landmarks which was interesting, but I thought it would be a much faster speed boat ride, wasn’t what I expected but it was also a bit windy this day. The captain was a female named Jamie and she did a good job.
Was fun but definitely a 1 and done activity, although the Navy Pier has a lot of good eats and was nice to walk around on a gorgeous day.
