The food & service were excellent. While the views of the Chicago skyline were impressive, the outside decks were crowded & we weren’t able to get sitting.

The food tour was great! Justin was a great tour guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He made everyone feel like he was their personal tour guide. I would recommend this tour, and especially Justin, to everyone! The food was good, the information was good and even when the garden was closed at the library, Justin pivoted quickly and everything carried on smoothly! Kudos!!!

We really enjoyed our Chinatown tour. Janine, our tour guide was awesome, she is very knowledgeable and personable. My favorite item was the egg tarts from the bakery. mmmm

Lizzie made this tour an absolute blast. Because of her, our whole group bonded and it made it even more fun. The pizza, Chicago dog, brownie and beer were absolutely delicious! I would do this every time I come to town!

I'll start by saying that the food, drink, and restaurants themselves were awesome - delicious pizza, great staff, and a good experience visiting three classic Chicago establishments.

The tour itself, however, was chaotic and stressful.

The premise of the tour was a VIP experience, where you had a table reserved for you, pizza would come in 10 minutes, and you would have a brief time to enjoy a slice at each place before moving on - the itinerary made clear that you could not be late and must stick to the schedule. We had also signed up for the optional beer package and looked forward to trying local beer with our pizza.

In the first restaurant, no one seemed to have any idea we were coming. Several staff had no idea who we were or why we were there. We were told when we signed up that our food would come in 10 minutes and that we had to be on our way to the next step promptly, but it took 30 minutes for the restaurant to even figure out why we were there, so we were already running late.

Eventually, a manager came out and brought us a fresh pizza that he had apparently taken from another order (it was not the sausage pizza we were supposed to get). We appreciated his efforts. The staff was very apologetic and did everything they could to make it right - they were amazing. The pizza was out of this world. But, we were now way behind schedule and rushing to eat and make our next stop.

We arrived late to our next stop, and they, too, seemed confused by who we were and why we were there. Eventually, we were told that they had us in the system but that the meal hadn't been paid for (even though we had prepaid). They also told us that they had no record that we had also signed up for the beer package. In the end, we got our pizza 30 minutes later (not in 10 minutes as promised) and our beer. We rushed through our food again, now crazy behind the schedule. We were then presented with a bill for the whole affair. We told them we had prepaid, and they seemed confused but said OK. We then left to run to our next stop - not a lot of fun to rush when you are getting full of beer and pizza!

Our last stop, thankfully, was expecting us! They had our order written down already - but then presented us a bill, like the last place. We again informed them that we prepaid, and it became "a thing" until they finally figured things out and brought us our food - again, 30 minutes later, although the stress was gone since this was our last stop.

All in all - the food was amazing, the staff at each place was great, the experience of walking through River North and visiting classic historic restaurants was awesome, and we ultimately got what we paid for.

However, the disorganization made it all stressful - some places not knowing we were coming, food not being ready on time, running late the whole time and rushing the food and travel time, the constant confusion about everything - it took a lot of the fun out of the evening.

Having done it, I would now just choose one of the restaurants (Gino's East for us!) and enjoy a leisurely meal without the stress.

Perfect start to our Chicago trip. I had never been to Chicago and thoroughly enjoyed being on the water and seeing the skyline. The buffet was good, not great, although there certainly was plenty to choose from.

The view of Chicago from the river was simply breathtaking! 5 stars. Music & ambience was excellent. 5 stars. Staff and crew were attentive. 5 stars. The food was decent. 3 1/2 stars (perhaps 4 stars if food was served warmer). Accommodations for disabled persons were acceptable - but inconvenient. The restrooms were located on a lower level. Staff members were helpful in assisting one of our disabled guests down approximately 10 stairs using a portable stair climber. Once down the stairs, the restroom was pretty and clean but NOT handicap accessible. No ADA height toilet or grab bars. 1/2 star. A grab bar should be a requirement for establishments to claim they are accessible to all guests! To discover the lack of a common restroom fixture, I am forced to lower my overall rating to 3.8 stars. This was a beautiful cruise and an event that all people should be able to experience. I hope management will follow up and install simple grab bars in restrooms of the vessel.

This tour far exceeded our expectations! First and foremost, Reya, our guide was the perfect guide. He shared so many interesting facts about the city, the food and each are we visited. But he didn't talk so much that we felt that we were on an educaitonal tour. The views were amazing and we felt that we got to see a great part of Chicago that we would not have seen had we been on our own. And the food- we got a entire slice of pizza, a loaded hot dog and great serving of gelato. This tour is a great value and a great deal of FUN! Do it!

My wife and I went on this tour as we love pizza and wanted a way to sample a few different types, so this tour seemed like the perfect activity for us!
We met up with our tour guide James and eight other people and visited four different pizzerias, each offering a different style of pizza.
The pizza was excellent, and we got the opportunity to meet and meet and chat with the others (who were all very friendly) over the course of the three hour tour.
James was an excellent guide who was both knowledgeable and funny.
I'd highly recommend this tour to just about anyone!

A nice evening of a buffet dinner, dancing and views. Plenty of food. Beautiful view though it would be nice to be told what views we were seeing.

Note: Because of all the rain, the water table was night and the boat ramp was very steep for boarding.

The the boat and the views were amazing, however the quality of service was a little young. You can tell that the server's experience wasn't seasoned.( More knowledge of the menu and attention to detail needed). I appreciate the effort, but I think there could be more staff training to correct this. The DJ was hot garbage. Elevator music the whole trip until we were about to dock, then comes the turn up songs. DJ, get the crowd involved. Be more diverse. The food was great, just small portions. All the fountain drinks were flat. The boarding pictures were great. Odyssey please fix these things. It could really be a great overall experience for the money. I cruised on June 18, 2021 on the second dining deck, evening cruise.
