A very thorough, informative and enjoyable tour. Todd was an amazing guide- so very knowledgeable with an abundance of really interesting historical facts and stories. TJ was great too and very welcoming. I would recommend this tour to everyone. After 4 hours, I feel I know the city much better. Thanks guys!

This tour far exceeded our expectations! First and foremost, Reya, our guide was the perfect guide. He shared so many interesting facts about the city, the food and each are we visited. But he didn't talk so much that we felt that we were on an educaitonal tour. The views were amazing and we felt that we got to see a great part of Chicago that we would not have seen had we been on our own. And the food- we got a entire slice of pizza, a loaded hot dog and great serving of gelato. This tour is a great value and a great deal of FUN! Do it!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Chicago by bike. It is such a fun way to see the city. I highly recommend going on this tour, even if you haven't ridden a bike in a long time. The pace is slow so that you can take in all the sights and there are plenty of stops along the way to eat yummy food and have a drink. It definitely didn't feel like 13 miles to me. Dan was an incredible host, sharing great stories and facts about the city of Chicago. He led us confidently through the streets of Chicago like the pro that he is. I highly recommend this tour!

Our tour was guided by T, who was very entertaining and knowledgeable. We had beautiful weather and were able to see numerous landmarks throughout the city. I highly recommend this tour, as it is a great way to see the city. You don't need to be an avid bicyclist to do it, as the paths are mostly flat. At the very beginning, we rode on a few city streets that didn't have bike lanes, but the remaining 90% of the ride was on streets with bike lanes or paths designed exclusively for walkers and bicyclists. The bike was easy to ride. The tour was a lot of fun, and I learned a lot of good Chicago history! Thanks, T!

Lots to see and do. Definitely an all day event. Don't rush around. There's something for everyone. Good educational opportunities for young and old.

This exhibit, despite the name, is not torture...for you! It was badass!!! Being a history night, I love even the dark side of history.

Our tour guide Mallory was very friendly and knowledgeable! We had a great group but at times the bars were very loud and made it difficult to hear the stories. Otherwise, it was a great experience.

The tour gives you spectacular views of the Chicago skyline and the fireworks, and is family-friendly. The boat ride was two hours long, and included a cash-bar, restrooms, music, and a host who gave us interesting factoids regarding some of the city's famous skyscrapers. The boat does rock quite a bit, especially when docked during the fireworks display. (Be vigilant my fellow motion-sickness sufferers!) The tour is worth the price I paid for the ticket. The worst part of the tour was the brevity of the fireworks, which, of course, is the City of Chicago's doing.

Family friendly and super fun to do. Staff are very good entertainers and fun to participate on their acts. Knowledgeable about the city so you get to learn a little history about Chicago SkiyLine and the City. I thought the tour was going through the canal but it actually goes alongside the lake which was fun to fell the breeze like if you would be at open sea. Is a fun adventure to do while in the city. If you are lucky you get to take pictures with the captain too :D

Joe was a sensational tour guide. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable of all the art and architecture in the Art Institute but he accompanied the explanation with interesting and clever anecdotes. It’s obvious why he’s taught Art History at prestigious Universities for so many years. Can’t wait to experience another tour at this amazing Museum.

First thing first: we did not get the dinner cruise that we paid for. We bought the Premiere Fireworks Dinner Cruise aboard the Odyssey. It was to feature a “three course plated dinner.” However, a private wedding bumped us down to a standard buffet dinner cruise on the Spirit. As this was our celebration of our 31st anniversary, we started off disappointed. For our anniversary, we purchased a $40 45 oz shareable margarita in an oversized glass for two. That’s what we ordered, but not what we got. We got one single margarita, and then the another about 20 minutes later. The menu stated that all specialty drinks were served in a souvenir glass, but our waiter told us we’d have to pay extra to buy a glass. After fussing, he gave us one souvenir glass. The food was acceptable and abundant, although not the classy plated dinner we expected. Since my wife is mobility challenged, I would NOT have booked a self-serve buffet on a rocking boat. Wait staff seems ill-prepared and were inattentive. We weren’t the only couple on board who had been downgraded. Nor were we the only folks in their sixties onboard, yet the DJ only played boom-boom contemporary party music. The city fireworks display was exciting and just long enough. However, the outside decks were infested with spiders. We were warned not to lean against the rails or sit in the seats provided, but we did anyway.

On the plus side, we ate our fill, saw beautiful views of the skyline, and made friends with delightful passengers. We think we are due a refund, but it wasn’t a total loss.

Great experience. We would definitely do it again should we come back to Chicago. Highly recommend the experience. It was an adventure doing the tour on St. Patrick’s Day which made it more fun.
