The ranking of tours, activities, and experiences available on Tripadvisor is determined by several factors including the revenue generated by Tripadvisor from these bookings, the frequency of user clicks, and the volume and quality of customer reviews. Occasionally, newly listed offerings may be prioritized and appear higher in the list. The specific placement of these new listings may vary.
*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
Absolutely amazing river trip especially with the river dyed green for St. Patrick’s day! Our guide Kevin was great and made the experience even more enjoyable! Would recommend this to anyone visiting Chicago.
Our boat guide was funny and very educational. The 45 minute tour was just the right amount of time. The weather was perfect on this day. I recommend arriving early to get a good seat.
A relaxed entertaining and interesting tour around Chicago. Tour took about 1hour 45 mins at a relaxed walking pace. Sophia was a fantastic and enthusiastic host, who knew her stuff which made the tour all the more enjoyable Recommend booking up and doing the tour
The tour was so interesting and informative that we braved the subfreezing temperatures for (almost) the entire journey. It was great to have an indoor lounge where we could warm up and still hear the guide.
Heath was our guide today. It was St. Patrick's Day and there were thousands of extra people everywhere. Heath handled it like a pro. We had an excellent tour, the food was awesome, the content was great. He knew right where to get photos and we highly recommend him.
Great tour! Well worth it. Maddy was an awesome guide. We learned a lot, had a couple of great stops and found an awesome way to explore the city. Would recommend!
The day on which we'd purchased advance tickets was rainy and cloudy, with no visibility. To our surprise, they offered us money back or rescheduling the next day (even though the website said they were sold out - they reserve extra tickets for this purpose.) We returned the next morning and saw a few tops of buildings through the low clouds - which was still an awe-inspiring view. But we'll have to return to really see the full view someday.
Good way to see the main tourist parts of Chicago. Lots of the negative reviews seem to be people who don’t read the information properly. Even better, download the APP and you can really plan your day around bus times and location. Two day pass is definitely worth it.
Even with wind chill temps in the mid-20s, this tour was totally worth it. We toured buildings and saw things we would have never seen on our own. Highlights included the Chicago Cultural Center, Palmer Hotel and Macys. We did both the Architectural and food tours. Both were great. Dave is super knowledgeable and shared so many stories.
Amazing way to see the whole of the city. Incredible views! On the advice of the staff we opted to go up later than planned and we were glad we did. We got the whole experience and saw the Lakeshore, the gold Coast as well as all the well- known and iconic architectural sights!
Adam is such a knowledgeable and charismatic tour guide! Not only did he provide great information and context about the breweries and the city of Chicago, but he also tailored certain aspects around our group’s flavor palettes. The tour was very accessible and gave a great preview of the brew scene in the city!
