- Xamot TomaxFort Wayne, IN5,972 contributionsPicked up a few Christmas gifts at the Lego Store. My nephews are Lego fanatics. The prices are higher up, but the vast selection makes up for it. Looking at some of them makes me wish I was a kid again. The rest of the mall has many restaurants on each floor. Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and there was a very sparse crowd (good for us, but not for the merchants) and the food court was an excellent selection of cuisines. If you go, you must try the TopGolf Swing Suite (6th floor). - IrinaUnited States9,939 contributionsThe indoor mall of Block 37 on State Street is a multi-story mall of contemporary design, with various shops, access to which is provided by escalators and glass elevators. There's a dine-in movie theater on the upper floor of the mall (Level 4), and also several restaurants -- for casual dining, mainly.
As a consequence of the pandemic, a very popular restaurant Latinicity is closed now (not sure, temporarily or for good), several stores are gone too, but some new ones are either open already, or they've been announced to open in the near future. The mall has a set of useful info-boards on each floor, plus many rest areas with chairs and tables, that are now placed even more distantly, than before. A very large and spacious atrium, now decorated for winter holidays, also adds volume and appeal to the comfort of the mall.
In the shops that I visited, the attendants were wearing masks, and public places on different floors were regularly cleaned.

My wife found one she liked, and she said the employee was very nice and helpful. - Taylor BChicago, IL7,535 contributionsLocated on land once occupied by historic Fort Dearborn and later by Illinois Central's extensive railroad yards, Illinois Center is a mixed-used urban development in downtown Chicago that once was described as "the greatest real estate deal in history." Designed by world renowned architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, the 83-acre complex includes five towers of office and residential buildings, 5 million square feet of office space and three hotels with 3,500 rooms all connected by an enclosed concourse or East Loop Pedway that is lined with more than 100 shops, restaurants, banks and salons. The trick for newcomers is to navigate the maze-like walkways to find their destination. Over 18,000 people walk through the doors daily. The development once included a golf course, which has been turned into a park now surrounded by an urban village of high-rise buildings called Lakeshore East. It covers four city blocks, bounded on the west by Michigan Avenue, on the south by Randolph Street, on the north by Wacker Drive and on the east by Lake Shore Drive. The infrastructure plans were overwhelming, including the rerouting of Lake Shore Drive and demolition of its infamous "S" curve, an extension of Wacker Drive and addition of many layers of walkways, parking lots and underground roads. - lvchick79Las Vegas, NV126 contributionsI stayed in a condo near by and was pleasantly surprised with this area. There is a movie theater, grocery store, several restaurants, and a bar/bowling area. It wasn't very busy but I was there on weekdays.
