The indoor mall of Block 37 on State Street is a multi-story mall of contemporary design, with various shops, access to which is provided by escalators and glass elevators. There's a dine-in movie theater on the upper floor of the mall (Level 4), and also several restaurants -- for casual dining, mainly.
As a consequence of the pandemic, a very popular restaurant Latinicity is closed now (not sure, temporarily or for good), several stores are gone too, but some new ones are either open already, or they've been announced to open in the near future. The mall has a set of useful info-boards on each floor, plus many rest areas with chairs and tables, that are now placed even more distantly, than before. A very large and spacious atrium, now decorated for winter holidays, also adds volume and appeal to the comfort of the mall.
In the shops that I visited, the attendants were wearing masks, and public places on different floors were regularly cleaned.
Shops of Block 37 are located in the center of Theatre District of the Chicago Loop, and they attract visitors pretty much any time of the day, since it is a very busy part of town.
