What travellers are saying
- Sue BEdinburgh, UK2 contributionsGreat selection of food, desserts, and international cuisine, even without all of the vendors being open when we were there!Written 27 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - zracoonSandy, UT604 contributionsWe visited and had breakfast at the market on a rainy Saturday, of tamales, a cheesy breakfast sandwich, a cinnamon roll, and a whole bunch of other free samples. Everyone was super friendly, good quality produce and food, and lots of cute dogs.Written 1 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jgbtravelsLouisville, KY3,381 contributionsThis place is the king of mid century finds. Truly a gem in Chicago. There’s a lot of cool stuff here, however, bargains are hard to come by. Still it’s a great place to browse and marvel at these finds. Staff is friendly and it’s well maintained compared to other antique malls we have been to. It’s metered street parking on Broadway and close in on the side streets. On the plus side you are less than a block away from Ann Sather’s on Granville. Think cinnamon rolls to die for.Written 25 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lori CMilwaukee, Wisconsin, Usa11 contributionsI live in Milwaukee, long drive so slow with traffic! I don't know how people that live around there can deal with the traffic! Mix of old and new and things re-crafted? not to many vendors as I went in Dec and it's an indoor market only. I hear it's crazy in summer as there are many more vendors taking up the entire parking lot. - SRCMLChicago, IL139 contributionsJust got home from this great market. There's the obvious suspects of fruit, veg, flowers and then there's cheese, salami's, breads, a grilled cheese vendor and a tamale and crepe stand. Loved this experience and will return.Written 23 August 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- JwkruzDowners Grove, IL184 contributionsWe stopped by to see how it had transformed since UIC had taken over its original location. It's a lot of food stalls (Mexican food) and the rest of the vendors are selling flea market junk. The Randolph St market would be a much better alternative.Written 3 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
