The Chicago Magic Lounge provided a fun, entertaining evening. During the first part, magicians roam the floor engaging with folks at individual tables. Waiters take drink and small-plate food orders. The main act consisted of two magicians performing amazing tricks, also engaging with audience members, which made it unpredictable and added currency. Then there is a post-show for people who bought premium seats. The service was excellent, especially the performer who saw us out on the street after the show looking for a cab when none was in sight. Like magic, he pulled out his phone and called us an Uber! What a prince!

If you're looking for live jazz music, this is the place to be. It's never crowded even when it's full, the acoustics are great they have wonderful cocktails and it's not expensive. We've been going often since they opened. We have never been disappointed.

Andrea was amazing server. Super sweet, a joy to have on our layover. She looked out for us flight attendants and really made the experience great. Def recommend the pasta 10/10 and her hospital was definitely a 10/10 so if Andrea is working you will be taken well care of no problem!

Great customer service, staff was nice & friendly. Bowling was fun however they need new bowling balls and pool tables. Had the buffalo wings, they were small & not the best quality.
Pricey but Happy Hour is optional.

As big fans of Chicago Fire, this was a must-see visit. Without fail, all of our Uber drivers had visited Lotties and warned us that it was very casual but great bar food. It was so magical seeing the fairy lights in the ceiling and sitting at the tables that the Chicago Fire crew sit at! Food was good and reasonably priced

The Shakespeare improv is the best! These are a talented group of actors. I have been here several times and I am amazed at how different each show is and how clever and talent the actors are. I have come with family and I have come with friends. I don’t know about you but in the last couple months I could use a laugh. The Shakespeare improv delivers.I have only come for the Shakespeare. I would assume the other shows are equally well done. I have found this is a great event to plan with a group. The tickets are a reasonable $20 plus fees. The bar is reasonably priced and drinks can be brought into the theater. The staff worked with me to see our group of 14 together. They were very nice and helpful. There are restaurants and bars within a block of the theater. We found the theater bar to be perfectly adequate and they serve appetizers to order.

In town for Riot Fest and checked it out. If you love IPA’s, this is the place for you. The taproom is located in the middle of the brewery on the upper level which gives you great views of the brewery. The long heavy wooden tables and benches make it easy to gather. It reminds you a bit of being in a place like the Hofbrauhaus in Munich Germany. Good implementation of Ovid protocals. Even better beer

Very nice place to spend a good time. Very crowdy but here is the fun. Most go with friends to have a party time. The music is loud and make you dance

We went as a group (business) and the stand up comedians were more than entertaining. Was a great spot to spend the evening in and it is small but cozy.

A fantastic fun find. Younger me, that played some of those games on release, will be very angry at older me for this: the music could be a couple decibels lower - it was just at a level that made conversation more of an effort that it should've been. Good selection of beer. The hurricane fries are either the best invention ever or the weirdest (nori flakes on potato is a new one for me).... not sure. Will probably have to try them again ;-).

What a great spot in Downtown Chicago. Hidden in an alley way, you go downstairs to an exotic tropical retreat!! Drinks and food were fantastic. Staff was very friendly. If you’ve ever been to a Trader Vic’s, this has very similar vibes. Will definitely go back in future trips.

Sad to hear of the sudden closure of the Celtic Crossing, one of the limited few true Irish bars in Chicago, something you just don't get in abundance in the states. It has reopened under a different name, unless that's all that has changed its sad to think John Phelan & co will be no more. You'll have to settle for plastic paddy bars like the kerryman and fado now that the Celtic has gone. Great while it lasted, don't know where I'll go now when I'm in town again, was looking forward to bringing the gang I'm going to the Ireland v All blacks game in November to the infamous Celtic and its characters. Was a place to be proud of and be part of. Absolutely gutted its gone.

A fun, unique speakeasy. It was a bit pricey but worth the experience. They have different specialty drinks every night, which are chosen by tarot cards. They have pop up performances about every 30 minutes. We saw two female, burlesque dancers, and one male burlesque dancer, and one guitar player with funny songs. It is definitely a 21+ club. Definitely make a reservation in advance or you may be waiting a while. some of the drinks were very good. The others were not so good but it’s fun to try new things. We did not eat the food, but had the Nutella ice cream sandwich dessert which was very good. Overall I would go back, it was fun.

Came for a child's birthday party and couldn't believe the prices were so high for both the bowling alley and arcade. Kids had fun but probably won't come back except to spend rest of money left on swipe card for the arcade.
