    Scattered service
    Take this review with a grain of salt. We are elderly. It was the middle of the day. We were very willing to pay for cocktails with a rooftop view. She had the Pineapple Haze. I had the Purple Reign and daughter had gin on the rocks. The drinks were pricey but very good. The view was phenomenal but the server kinda disappeared on us. I had to go back into the bar for napkins and a glass ( the pineapple thing was a can plopped on the table) we had a good time, paid the expected price and enjoyed the view, but come on guys... class it up.

    Drag night
    Went to hydrate to support a friend. Had a great time, the guys know how to put on a show good music and awesome party atmosphere! Go Nina Lopez!

    Excellent!
    My friends and I had dinner here before seeing Les Miserables. The restaurant is cute and the food was very good. I had the fish tacos and they were great. The burrata was delicious too. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    Great place with tweens for a Sunday afternoon!
    Brought our tweens here for some ping pong and had an amazing time! The place is very clean (and just after St Patrick's Day yet too!) The atmosphere is so fun, service was amazing and the food and drinks were great! Go for a great afternoon!!

    K'michelle concert
    This was my 1st time being here and it was great, I heard a lot of talk about it was ghetto 👎 wrong ,the line was short, employees was nice friendly & helpful, the drink wasn't watered down and was a good price, the stage is connected to the bag so u never have to move 💯✔✔👍, she performed for a long time not like other clubs where the performers come late do one song then leave ,she was amazing pretty and nice I loved her ,and I will b back to the shrine

    Review of: ‪Smart Bar‬
    Interesting
    Neat place, went there on a Saturday night. I believe they have different themed nights. This might it was dark and they were playing trance music. It looked kind of like a purple cave... Definitely interesting! I liked it while we were there, however it would have been nice to end the night with a little pick me up. My boyfriend and I prefer more drum and bass music with good drops and light shows. They have funktion one speakers though, and if you don't know what they are you need to experience them at least once in your life.

    Review of: Berlin
    This place is crazy!
    I was walking back from Boystown to the red line stop when I decided to drop by Berlin for "a drink." At first I was put off since they're cash-only and had a cover--I had to find an ATM elsewhere because they wouldn't let me use the one they had inside. After that, however, I had a great time. Everyone was relatively friendly and they have a huge back area behind the bar. Berlin was definitely one hell of a trip, to say the least.

    Review of: Betty's Blue Star Lounge
    Absolutely loved this place food and drinks!
    We went here for dinner and drinks and basically tried everything on the menu. I loved the food, we destroyed every dish. They also had a very good cocktail and drink selection. If you like bourbon, you love this place! Cheap Pappy! OMG our bill was $600 because we kept ordering $60 bourbon glasses. I will definitely go back.

    Night life
    I visited Chicago this weekend from St. Louis this weekend. I heard about this club from people who were staying at the hotel I was at. I am so glad that I went. I had the time of my life. The music was on point. Everyone there were friendly. I would definitely go back again if I had the opportunity.

    Modern Disco Club
    This small club provides exactly what it’s name promises: disco. The floors pulse with multicolor lights and the ceilings don massive disco balls. Some attendees wear disco outfits and the music doesn’t stray from the theme. If you’re willing to push your way through sweaty, sexually charged millennials on the dance floor, you’ll be able to snag a drink at the bar. Dress code enforced, no sneakers admitted.

    Review of: PRYSM Nightclub
    Be careful of your cell phones.
    I recently visited this club for the first time. I was with 6 friends and 2 of them had their phones stolen. We reported it to security and I quote he said ... “you are the 11th person that told me that tonight.”

    I’m not blaming the club however - just be careful of your belongs when on attending an event there.

    Review of: Bluetopia
    Excellent Blues Dancing with a great wood dance floor
    Specific type of dance style to blues music. The venue offers one dance per month with a lesson prior to open dance. If you are open to learning a really smooth style of dance that is sensual, then try out Bluetopia. Everyone is very friendly and there are excellent dancers to watch and learn from. No judgement on newbies, so try out your new steps. No need for a partner. BYOB, bring your water and beverages. Must be 21 to bring in alcohol. Smart casual dress.

    Review of: Room Seven
    Unique place in the city!
    Visited the club this past weekend and had a great time partying here. Loved the lounge and its elegant interior that makes it unique and exclusive in the city. You're sure to be in a sophisticated environment because of their enforced and strict dress code. Expect a good service and luxurious experience for a bit of a splurge.
    Wasn't a big fan of the music. Personally prefer house, deep house, techno style but it was mostly top 40, Rnb and hip-hop. The place was a bit crowded but its probably normal and expected on the weekends.

    Review of: The Kinetic Playground
    Late Night Venue
    The Kinetic Playground is a late night venue for all types of musicial performers. Typically the music is upbeat ranging from techno to jambands. The venue has a hippy themed moral on the windows. The inside is not that big with two bars on opposite ends of the venue and one stage in the middle. However, despite the size it is a great place to check out. There is seating available for those that don't want to stand and dance all night. Drinks are moderately priced, about $4 for a mixed well drink. The bathrooms are conveniently located downstairs, so the lines are out of the way. Pretty awesome place, nice bartenders, great atmosphere. Located right next to the Red Line Lawrence stop makes this place even more accessible.
