I went with a friend and we compared notes afterwards on what we liked and didn’t like — literally nothing between the both of us for the didn’t like side. The improv was genius, the scenes were hilarious and timed perfectly. Perfect balance of shorter bits and longer skits.

We had a great time here! The magicians were funny and very entertaining. There were two magicians during the main show and if you have premium seats you can see an additional show which I feel was worth it. You are entertained from the time you enter until you leave. Before the show, there are magicians who do card tricks while you wait for the show to begin. The venue was filled with nostalgic pictures and was really a nice size so that everyone was able to see up close. The audience interaction adds humor to the show. I would definitely recommend stopping here if you’re in Chicago.

Busy, intimate, lively blues club. Music was fantastic. $20 per head entry but well worth it. Small table which you share with your neighbours. Music ranges from blues favourites to nerdy stuff. Musicians are fantastic.

Just a brilliant Blues venue with stunning musicians. We went on a quiet Sunday evening and I had a silly fixed grin on my face the whole time. Loved it! Got in for free as it was my birthday.

Famous blues club, owned by the legend Buddy Guy, which, on the night we visited was pretty much full of tourists so although it might not be as atmospheric or 'authentic' as other more back-street blues joints, it was a great night. The band was really good and the evening got even better when Buddy himself got on stage to do a short set. Apparently, he's not always in the club and he rarely performs but, even at 88 years old, he's still got it. It's a very friendly place (even the bouncers are smiley) and the table service is excellent. Not that expensive either for beer or food. Highly recommended.

I do not normally write reviews about venues other than restaurants though if you visit Chicago you have to experience live Jazz and Andy’s is an ideal venue located in the central Loop. I am not a fan of jazz though the big band (16+ musicians) playing non stop for approx 90 minutes is something. You can eat here though we settled on a few cocktails - the best was a Cosmopolitan. Service was efficient and the venue quite intimate and busy. Including entry fee of $40, drinks and a tip for the band we spent $100. Great fun.

It award to tell from th website what we were getting with a dinner reservation. The restaurant had live music and you get a two hour slot at your table. We went at 5 and there was a very good musician playing classic blues. The food is good but heavy--fried chicken breast, ribs, nachos. If you are into nachos these are very good! Service friendly but slow which is fine if you have two hours.

Their website doesn't help you plan a visit (no information on refreshments/seating chart/ difference between VIP & regular price ticketing). Phone staff are not gracious or knowledgeable. After ordering tickets on the JS website you get an email from Eventbrite (raking in a $5 "fee" per ticket) that doesn’t contain actual tickets, only an order number & a website link forcing account registration to access the tickets. DON’T BOTHER; you’ve only to give your name at the door.
The venue is spacious, with great decor, seating at the bar in the back, hardwood tables & chairs across most of the floor, with some couches nearer the stage; no clear line between VIP & general seating. They don’t serve food, but you can order in. Bartender & servers are very nice. Alcohol selection is not top shelf, corkage is $35. The neighborhood is a little sketchy, but the venue is on a quiet side street, with free parking at the side. Lots of great jazz here.

First I want to say this is not for children please do not bring your kids to this show. Some people brought a child and it was awkward. This is an adult show not for kids. Seating is very close to the stage. The acrobatics are draw dropping. The cast interacts with the audience moving through the tables and are crazy silly fun. The entertainers that sing are extremely talented. I would go just to listen to them sing! The rest of the entertainment is a bonus. The website encourages you to dress up and we did. I was a disappointed that there were people dressed like they were going to a picnic but whatever. The food was so so I think if I was going to go again I would not get the dinner. I would order probably charcuterie or something off the menu. You're eating during the show and the wait staff is stealthy. They kind of squat around the tables putting out silverware and stuff. I didn't even notice they had put the dessert on the table until I looked down. I if you like drag queens, silliness, amazing acrobats, and amazing singers, go to the show you will love it! We had a ball! We plan on going back to Chicago next year and we're going to go see this again. It's Las Vegas level entertainment in in a small venue. Definitely worth the price.

In Chicago for the Memorial Day weekend -always looking for music venues and they are not hard to come by in Chicago- this spot had been recommended to my daughter by a former Chicago resident -and fortunately it was close to where we had dined – an Ethiopian restaurant – in fact across the street – we arrived relatively early to an already packed house and after paying the cover - I became concerned that it would be standing room only and I am not a young person- then we were greeted by perhaps a manger, a women who seemed to be in charge, who asked how many (2) and she guided us to a table where two people were sitting and two empty seats we joined these strangers who turned out to be good company- one was visiting from South America – as the night went on the house became packed, standing patrons obstructing the stage view – nevertheless the music was good , the service was best it could be for such a crowd

-glad to have gone but if you decide to go – get there super early

The best night out on our whole trip. The staff were so friendly - ensuring we were able to get back into the main part of Chicago, and ensuring the drink flowed! Music was out of this world, was sad we had to leave. Go, enjoy, sing, dance, drink, don't miss a visit at Rosa's Lounge if you are in Chicago. One Tip: If you are getting a taxi there, make sure to arrange them to come back for you! Otherwise you will be stuck.

At my seasoned age I am a bit shy to admit I had never been to Chicago, so my daughter and I decided to make a quick run – over the Memorial Day week-end. I always try to find music venues whereever I travel -so I checked and Winter’s Jazz Club came up – I am glad it did – we were fortunate to secure VIP seating in this cozy club but it’s small and intimate without a bad seat – we also extremely fortunate that Denise Thimes was the performing artist- she was sooo good and the acoustics were on point; service was adequate and drinks fairly reasonable –

it was definitely a good choice for a most enjoyable evening.

Great venue and vibe. Just a cool place to grab a beer and a bite. They sponsor lots of activities. If I lived in Chicago, I'll check them out.

I had no idea what to expect. I knew it was a one woman show and bingo was played at some point. It was HILARIOUS! As a Catholic school “survivor” there was so much to laugh at. All the other audience members laughed as well. I will admit there were moments I found more humor in it than others but that made it that much more enjoyable all around. I’ll be back for Late Night Catechism soon enough!

Great customer service, staff was nice & friendly. Bowling was fun however they need new bowling balls and pool tables. Had the buffalo wings, they were small & not the best quality.
Pricey but Happy Hour is optional.
