- Michael12 contributionsThis is a really cool place , but its expensive for what it is . they have a cool go kart track and the roller coaster is pretty wicked considering what this place is lol. OLD TOWN is attatched to this place off the entrance . Its really great . would have gave 5 stars but i just couldnt with the price . Your kids and teens will have a blast though . - steg44 contributionsRented two single kayaks for two hours with a friend while on a girls weekend in Orlando. We had a great time exploring Shingle Creek by boat. The kayaks were in good shape. Staff were helpful and friendly. This was a spur of the moment decision so it was nice that they had small dry bags for sale. - sskrollOrlando, FL823 contributionshere is a lot t9o do here as well as the pioneer village (they have docents n the buildings the 2nd Sat of the month except during the summer months) and that makes the experience much more interesting. There are paddling, walking or biking trails. - Raymond573New Haven, CT9 contributionsAs a frequent traveler to Thailand, and a Buddhist, whenever I am in the Kissimmee area this temple is a must visit site for me; not only is the architecture authentic there are many Buddhist monuments on the property creating a tranquil feeling. The main building is open during the day so you can go inside and see the Buddha and other Asian art works, Also, there are Thai Monks you can talk to and they also give lessons on Buddhism or whatever you want to talk about. Also, just down the road is the entrance to Shingle Creek state park; another state park memorializing the early settlers.
