What travellers are saying
- Alicia R6 contributionsThis park was the whole reason for coming to Key West. I so enjoyed the extended tour presented by Hollywood. Such a great history lesson. Just make sure you make your reservations in advance. The trip fills up.Written 9 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Diana SWildomar, CA6 contributionsgreat interesting tour by locals house is amazing lots of cats

The concentration of butterflies that surround you is much higher than your typical butterfly place. Definitely worth it!Written 21 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Marie M7 contributionsIt's a must do when in Key West! We made sure to schedule our dinner before sunset. We took some great pictures and met some great people. Don't miss it!!Written 17 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Alicia DMaryland43 contributionsThe main drag of the city. It has so many bars and some crazy people, but it's definitely worth a visit. Many stores also.Written 22 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- J M6 contributionsLearned a lot about Truman and Key West by taking the guided tour. Tour Guide was excellent and funny. Have been to Key West several times and this was not at the top of my list- but now I regret not visiting sooner. It's the kind of place you can go back and see more each time. Beautiful job of preserving the house and property.Written 15 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Momof5St. George, UT31 contributionsWe drove the Miami airport to Key West non toll roads just for the experience. Super restful and peaceful. Places to stop on the way and back. The gas is cheaper towards Miami, surprisingly, rather than towards Key West.Written 14 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Momof5St. George, UT31 contributionsI spent an afternoon here with adult daughter and my husband. Lots of shade. If we could have made it earlier, there is chair and umbrella rental at one end. Walk to the old fort. Restrooms. Great place to watch the sun go down. The water was nice. I stayed out in it 1 hr. Water shoes might be nice, as there is gravel and rocks as you go in the water.Written 14 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kelly D9 contributionsThis was a great museum. Such a great example of what living on one of these ships was like. Deep history. Would highly recommend to anyone going to key west.Written 13 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- janeNew York152 contributionsWe'd heard about Mel Fisher's story before, but this museum really brought it to life. A short film, lots of exhibits, treasure, and artifacts not only related to Mel Fisher's expeditions, but also the maritime history of the keys and Caribbean made for an enjoyable couple of hours. There's also a nice book and gift shop area, too. Great way to spend a couple of hours in air-conditioned comfort during the hottest part of the afternoon.Written 15 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- WaldoMorristown, NJ66 contributionsWho doesn’t love a lighthouse? This was a must do on our list and going early in the day paid off. We almost had the place to ourselves and were done by the time the crowds came. Make sure to check out the keeper’s house. There is some really interesting history of the island and a nicely cooled area to sit and take a short break in.Written 21 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- janeljeMaple Grove, MN368 contributionsSo apparently this isn't the southernmost point. The actual point is on a naval base and you can't go to it. But wait in line, take a pic, say you been there. No need to do it more than once in a lifetime. It's hot, not a lot of shade but we got an Uber in a minute to bring us the 2 miles north to the seaport.Written 19 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Michael N2 contributionsThis is a truly wonderful place and it's free "although I always drop something in the donation box" with a small movie theater that show a 20 minute very well done movie about the marine environment,a mockup of an undersea laboratory you can go in and an aquariumWritten 11 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Gerry MNorth Bay, Canada9 contributionsThis drive was something I always wanted to do and it was fantastic. Rented a convertible Mustang and had the top down the whole way...lolWritten 16 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
