- Kzoo50Lansing, MI35 contributionsWonderful park with two playgrounds! Our family spent the day at Lakes Park, there is plenty of activities for all. There are numerous walking paths, you can rent a Surrey, we did it was a great family activity.
The train museum is fun for all and the train ride is only $5.00 per person. Highly recommend if you are in the Ft. Myers area.Written 18 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We saw alligators, cranes, turtles, fish, wood pecker, owl, and lots of beautiful plants. We especially enjoyed the cypress trees and the cardinal bromelaid that grew on trees.Written 3 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - John HColumbus, OH208 contributionsEvery visitor to Ft Myers should take a drive down McGregor; whether it is you first or fiftieth visit to Ft Myers, the drive under the Royal Palms, past the Edison home is worth the time.Written 17 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RDCononverFlanders, NJ1,164 contributionsLocals suggested that I should visit for the restaurants and cool shops. Today there was a festival and a band in the park which was quite good. I mainly enjoyed walking and the atmosphere along with the restaurants. A neat place to spend an afternoon or evening exploring.Written 7 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - _SLH138_Minneapolis, MN150 contributionsI was expecting this to be a tourist trap, but with curiosity and a coupon for ice cream, we stopped by. What a pleasant surprise! We enjoyed sampling some fruit and juice, and buying ice cream treats. I have read that the ice cream recipe recently changed...we thought it was delicious!Written 10 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - _SLH138_Minneapolis, MN150 contributionsWe lucked out on getting a decent parking spot about an hour before sunset. We enjoyed walking along the soft sand and seeing the vegetation, including some showing hurricane damage. There was a lot of bird activity and then some beautiful sunset views. I recommend it!Written 10 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- DavidtheDaddyMacomb, MI24 contributionsThis is the second biggest flea market I've been to. It has a very large selection of different store types but has a lot of the same low expectations dollar store shops. Will find some good craft types as well as the cheesy skin care vendors. You can definitely spend a few hours or more easily. I have been twice and have yet to see the entire market.Written 24 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bratz Consignment Furniture WarehouseFort Myers, FL1 contributionIt's become my fail-safe spot to delight my wife. With multiple locations now open, satisfying her cravings has never been simpler. - HeinoP123Spring Grove, IL122 contributionsWe were staying at Ft. Myers Beach RV Resort for 2 weeks and found this gem on our last day before going home. Basically right across the street and what a gem it is. We were there a little after noon on a Saturday. Quite a few people enjoying the brews being offered and a pleasant surprise - live music! A Jimmy Buffetish guy strumming an acoustic guitar, no back tracks, singing his heart out covering Jimmy Buffet, Jim Croce, Billy Joel, Elton John, The Eagles, etc. And let's not put the brew offerings on a 2nd string. Unless I'm mistaken, everything they offer is made by them and the beertenders have no problem providing tasters to help with your decision making. I had tasters of the Grey Mangrove Smoked Porter, Little Attenuater German Bock, and Schlucker Bier German Dark Lager which were all excellent, and after much angst, I selected a full glass of The Full Breakfast, a nitro milk stout that was spectacular - one I believe would be award winning. Dark as night with a firm light brown head served up in a glass mug just like a morning cocoa. And hey, these biertenders are on the ball! They took the time to put a smiley face into the head just to make the whole experience a little more delightful. Take that you latte folks and your little tree or leaf foamed milk decoration! The beer was smooth as silk with the usual mouth feel of a nitro. Good mix of coffee, vanilla and cocoa flavors from start to finish. While we didn't take part, there was a food truck out back providing guests with eats. If we didn't have a plane to catch, we would have spent more time here. Not a fancy place in a fancy setting, just great beer in a comfy taproom worthy of your visit.Written 25 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MelissaOKeefeFort Myers, FL32 contributionsFort Myers has some problems with homeless people. This is one of the locations where there are lots of homeless hanging out. I believe that they feed the homeless still here certain days. Fort Myers has great protentional. I would like to see the city really concentrate on helping to house all the homeless- If they are not employable create a work program where the city provides the homeless with jobs as grounds maintenance workers throughout the city. (Where they get housing as part of the payment plan)
I go to this park often. Sometimes on Saturday night they have a drummers circle which is really cool. The park is worth a stroll- This park has potential for greatnessWritten 29 March 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. If you are walking, beware of discourteous cyclists, especially those on electric bikes. Could use more comfort stations.Written 14 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
