- Richard SSalem, United States15 contributionsThe organ was still being voiced so we were not able to see the church itself. We did see the Cisteen chaple exhibit as well as the gift store. The grounds were simply beautiful.Written 8 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- churst2022Oakville, Canada2 contributionsI was a visitor staying in the Hyatt at a business conference and apart from being close to the hotels for tourists coming to Disney, the cathedral is a modern work of art. Very peaceful grounds and spacious interiors. The best part was that services were available everyday at very convenient times starting from 6:30 am which is great for people who work as well as those visiting. From visiting the church everyday for a week, I found it is a very active parish for all ages and it is well attended. Very different from traditional church architecture but definitely a peaceful house of prayer.Written 30 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bonnie DBanning, CA11 contributionsMy granddaughter was recently married there....grounds are very pretty and event was private. - Mark FKingman, AZ29 contributionsWe had a great time. The kids were everywhere. Beds a little hard for my liking. Magi quest game takes hours and hours to play. Ask about story time for kids we missed it as we didn't know about it till it was to late when we found out.Written 23 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andre2411La Habra, CA212 contributionsMy wife, son and I went to the Sunday afternoon tour. First of all it costs $5 for Adults and $1 for kids, it's better to take cash with you as you have to go to another building to pay with card. I had forgotten my wallet that day but my wife had her Card. There was plenty of parking on site, and the staff was super friendly. There were about 6 adults on our tour and two of them were really excited to see Walt Disney's Garage workshop. I am not a huge Disney fan but it was still cool to see it. There is a little fire department building there that my son really liked, some old homes belonging to the Stanley Family, there is an old shoe repair shop, Post Office, School building, and you can walk through two homes. Lots of old antiques to see, and overall a very nice afternoon. I believe they only offer the tour twice a month, and since they are self funded they are in need of donations and volunteers. I was told they are having a barn sale in or about October, the proceeds help keep the museum open.Written 9 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gary2 contributionsI never knew this place existed. It feels like an outdoor theater company practice area
but it is really cool place to see a band.
The seats are probably the take outs from Angel Stadium back in the day.
Would be good to have more than one food option.Written 21 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MominOCOrange County, CA4,657 contributionsPlan to spend about 3hrs if you enjoy history and art. Definitely get the audio for $3 more to get nice details about each panel. Free parking. Christ Cathedral Cultural Center is where it is. Will end August 2020.Written 13 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ladyzireTemecula, CA706 contributionsWhat a fun and great idea. Newly opened in November 2019. There are several steel shipping containers in a compound converted to food and drink establishments with picnic benches in center and several other sitting areas. They also have a stage with entertainment on weekends (check first due to Covid-19). Located on Euclid in Garden Grove where Black Angus was. They have a brewery, a gourmet hamburger place, which is where we ate, a very unique ice cream place, macaron shop and other places which may be opening back up soon hopefully. This place is so worth checking out and helping to support small local businesses. You can dine in or take out.Written 6 June 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- John A.1 contributionIt's maintained as well as it could be. Homeless, punk kids, and/or mentally ill people sometimes break glass bottles on the paved trail. Before there were tons of bushes and greenery, but a good amount of homeless people started camping out in the bushes and trashed the park. So they decided to clear out a lot of the greenery (where people could hide). The water basin at low tide is super sad because you'd see tons of trash and even a bed box spring. Before winter, the homeless would congregate at the park tables (mainly the far gazebo at the end, overlooking the basin) and did drugs. Not as many now, but you can still see some still set up camps in the parking lot and in the bushes near the lot. Also, a good amount of people don't pick up their dog's poop, so watch where you run!Written 6 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - edq88222Fountain Valley, CA479 contributionsStaff is friendly, the equipment is good, and it's a non smoking place inside. For smokers, there's another billiard and pool parlor about 6 doors away, but it's too smoky inside for me. The fridge has soda and water for sale, and there's an ice cream freezer. Plenty of Korean takeout food available nearby, and patrons are allowed to eat while playing. Listed as opening at 11:30, but on my visit I was told the opening time was 10:30. My choice of the local places to play carom billiards, but this is not a bar; pool and billiards are why people come here.Written 15 April 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
