Weekend trip to some of the most famous and beautiful places in Jordan. Our driver and guide was very kind, friendly and knowledgable, huge thumbs up and thank you!!!

Petra as one of the wonders of the world was memorable, I recommended not to take the small electric cars from the gate, rather take a 30-40 minutes walk and enjoy the way between the huge rocks.

Wadi Rum showed different faces of the desert, I liked most the beautiful sunrise.

The Dead Sea is a must in a lifetime. Amazing.

If you are not in short of time as we were (we had only the weekend free), I would rather recommend the three days tour, that looks to be the optimal and a little bit more elaxing timeframe for this trip.

Great way to see all the highlights of Jordan! Highly recommend. Our driver Murad was very helpful and caring- ensured we had a good experience and was helpful in recommending places to eat and arranging a tour guide for Petra! Thank you so much- we had a wonderful time and you have a beautiful country.

This was such a great tour! The experience was made even better with Yahia's expertise and insights about the culture and history of the country. His passion and care for sharing this knowledge was deeply appreciated and provided a great foundation prior to visiting Petra and Wadi Rum. He also took great care to provide excellent advice that proved very useful before entering both areas. He was also flexible and open to making adjustments to the schedule, if/when needed. He even graciously organized another tour for me around Amman set for the very next day!

I also want to add that, as a woman who tends to travel solo, it was great to take a tour to the far reaches of the country feeling safe, confident and in good hands. Not only is Yahia a great driver, but he is also fun, a great listener, and excellent in providing support and comfort during your travels. For example, I was relieved when he had a mobile hotspot ready for me so that I could have internet access while at Petra. This attention to detail really put my mind at ease and enabled me to make the most of my time there without worrying about communication issues. This proved particularly important to me as Petra was far larger I anticipated, yet I wanted to make the most of my time exploring this historic city without fear of losing my ability to communicate with Yahia, if needed!

Overall, this tour takes you to two major highlights of the country and they will definitely not disappoint. And while Petra is as amazing as one would expect, I was completely dazzled with Wadi Rum. It's a beautiful almost otherworldly place and my experience there was easily one of the most fun I've had in a long time. Absolutely breathtaking and highly recommended!

From the beginning of the tour to the end, you will receive impeccable service.
Not only will you have a great time, but you can also rest assured that your journey to this extraordinary area of Jordan is one that you will not soon forget! Thanks, Yahia!

I just returned from a great trip to the Middle East which include the Abraham Tour 3 day Petra and Wadi Rum tour. We went from Tel Aviv but it’s the same tour from Jerusalem. They drove us from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and we picked up the Jerusalem people. It was an absolutely great experience but its worth knowing some things before you go. Our tour actually didn’t go to Wadi Rum because there was a sandstorm. It was a bit disappointing but clearly not the tour operator’s fault. Instead we went to a few other ancient sites which were fine. Petra was absolutely amazing. Staying at the Bedouin camp was great also. The accommodations were quite basic, but clean and comfortable enough and it was fun to sit by the fire and hear music while they served mint tea.

I chose the Abraham tour because it gave a full day in Petra instead of half a day and because it left from a hostel instead of some random address. We decided to stay in a private room at the hostel and it was clean and comfortable, in a great location, and inexpensive so the take off point was perfect and we did value the full day in Petra.

The part of the tour in Israel was poorly done, but the part in Jordan was fantastic. The tour bus picked us up in Tel Aviv. There was no guide. The bus was filthy and overcrowded and there was no place for luggage. It drove us to Jerusalem where we met other people and were put on a bigger bus. This one had space for luggage and was much roomier but was also filthy and in poor repair. They told us how many of us were there and to stay together. The bus brought us to the border with Jordan and dropped us off. We were left to negotiate a rather complicated 3 step process on our own in a facility that was crowded with people who pushed their very large families in front of you in line. There were people with guides who also pushed in front of us. When we finally got through, we waited for our fellow travelers to meet our bus. The driver had no idea how many people there were. Our tour group took care of each other but it was rather odd.

The bus in Jordan was large and clean and comfortable. Once we left the airport we picked up our guide, Nadar. He was great. He got us the rest of the way through the border and took care of us until we left Jordan. He was very informative and gave us lots of useful info.

Beware – going to Petra is a LOT of walking. You walk about 3 miles just to get to the area with the caves and it goes further from there. You have to walk back when you are done and there is lots of walking inside, up and down rocky stairways to see the various buildings. It is well worth it but if you have trouble walking this is not the place for you. You do have an option to take a horse part of the way, a camel part of the way, a carriage pulled by a donkey or a golf cart. You can see the main parts of the site that way, but you won’t be able to go much beyond that. Nadar took us on a tour for the first part of the day and brought us for lunch. Once we finished our lunch we were on our own to explore. There is a 900 step staircase to go to a cathedral in the back. I took a donkey which was quite an experience but ended up being a good choice. Riding instead of walking enabled us to have enough energy to go up from there to the top of the site and also to walk down and still see the caves on the side hills. By the end of the day I was totally spent when we returned to our Bedouin Camp site. The day after Perta we stopped at Mount Nebo, where Moses looked upon Jerusalem after wondering the desert. I didn’t expect much from that but it was really awesome.

Overall I recommend this tour. The guide was great. The sites were unbelievable. The food was good too. The only bad part was the transport from Israel to Jordan.

The tour was a great experience. Jordan is such a nice a diverse country. Our tour guide, Ali, was such a friendly and knowledgeable person. Petra and Wadi Rub are really must-see place. Everything was organized by Abraham tour very smoothly, so easy crossing of the border, great camp to stay for the nights, very nice other travellers. I higly recommand to do the tour if you are in Israel and have some spare days.

I generally do not go on group tours. My wife and I like to go out on our own or hire a private guide. On this trip, the group helped make it fun and when I fell, many came to my aid with bandages, gauze, and a bit of sympathy.

Our tour began at the Abraham Hostel in Jerusalem where we boarded a very nice bus. Exiting Israel was a bit confusing, but we made it and were welcomed by our Jordanian courteous and capable driver. Our tour guide, Abdullah, warmly greeted us at the Jordanian border and with our passports in hand did everything to make the process painless.

We made two stops. One was at Mt. Nebo where the Lord gave Moses a view of the Promised Land and where Moses might be buried. The Franciscans are caretakers of the site and have proven to be wonderful custodians of the site and chapel. Standing on the mountain and looking at the green of the River Jordan valley with Dead Sea on the left and Jericho on the right was very moving.

When we arrived at Petra it was already dark. Some of the group wanted to see Petra by night and Abdullah graciously accommodated them. My wife and I were tired and instead chose sleep in one of the comfortable tents at the Bedouin Camp. It is in a stunning setting and our tent was what we expected, rustic yet comfortable (well except for the mattress.)

Walking in Petra with all the carved sandstone buildings makes you grateful that the Nabateans took the time and patience to shape the building facades, had the expertise to bring in water, and build such a magnificent place in which to live. Abdullah walked with us to the treasury then set us free to explore on our own.

I can’t say enough good things about the tour. I wanted Petra to live up to my high expectations. It did, in part, because of this tour and our guide.

The tour consisted of Aqaba, Wadi Rum (sleep in the desert), and Petra. It was worth every minute there! We had an amazing guide, interesting, fun, approachable, and who enjoyed taking us by surprise us with the most incredible views.
The views were simply mind-blowing. Petra of course was breathtaking as well.
Sleeping in the desert was a wonderful experience, it felt like a luxury camp, and all the stuff was super friendly.
Also, we did not have to worry about crossing the border or anything. Everything was super simple with them.
In addition, this tour doesn't include camel riding, nor any type of riding, which we didn't want (animals rights are not super respected there).
    100% recommended!

There is only one way to start this review and that is say we had the best tour guide and driver, Ahmed! He was always on time. He was always pleasant and knowledgeable. And he was open to discuss his culture and religion. It made this trip of a lifetime a 5 star experience. I'm not overstating this at all. We left Jordan, feeling we had a new friend and greater understanding of the Middle East. This is the gift of travel at its best. Tim

We had five days traveling in Jordan with the help of Mohammad who organised everything. The places were amazing and the management of the trip was great. He was always very responsive and very easy to interact. We highly recommend it. We had a driver- mashhour who was wonderful and helped us with some issues we had during the travel (one of the kids didn’t feel well).

While in Israel we took 2 tours using Tourist Israel tours. Both tours ran like clockwork. Our 2 day tour to Petra and Wadi Rum was no exception. We met the tour in Eilat rather than Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. The tour starts on the Israeli side of the border with tour officials making sure all passports are in order. All
Fees are paid by the tour members. Once across the border we were met by our Jordanian guide, Abdullah. Our tour started with about 15 meme era but that would change depending on the day. We were given a quick tour of Acaba, then lunch at a restaurant which we paid for and then off to Wadi Rum. While at Wadi Rum we took an off roading tour of the beautiful desert moving from tent to tent where we were served tea. After about 2 hours we returned to our bus and to Acaba where we had an 3 star hotel. During warmer months the tour stays at a Bedouin Camp. Dinner was included. The next day after picking up more tour members at the border we drove to Petra. Again we gave all entrance fees to our tour guide who bought tickets. Abdullah took us through Petra stopping for explanations. We then had a couple hours on our own to explore. At about 4 pm we started on the drive back to the border. A bus was waiting on the Israeli side to deliver us back to either Jerusalem or Tel Aviv. We arrived in Tel Aviv at about 1 am. A representative was there to meet us and arrange for a taxi to take us home. I was impressed!!This is a no frills tour but I was can not complain. It got the job done. This is definitely a tour for those who are visiting or live in Israel and want a quick trip to see the Amazing sights of Jordan.

The whole trip was amazing. The driver Oqbah picked me up at 6am at my hotel in Amman. He made me feel really safe (I was traveling solo), told me everything about Jordan and we also joked a lot. The guide in Petra was also great, he told me everything and more about it. Petra is a wonder. The food in Wadi Musa was great. Then we went to Wadi Rum where a jeep driver took over. Wadi Rum is also a marvel.
Thanks Oqbah for a great experience.
