Excellent! Was a brilliant 1hr ride. Staff were super friendly super helpful. Wife was afraid but the leader made sure my wife felt safe and comfortable. Was amazed but how welcoming they were and the horses were really really calm and gorgeous! A must experience!

I am writing to recommend Skuli Gunnarrsson, an amazing native Icelandic tour guide who made our trip to Iceland truly unforgettable. Skuli was not only knowledgeable and professional, but he was also kind, thoughtful, and deeply passionate about his country.

Skuli picked us up from the airport in a Mercedes V-class Sprinter van and we visited one of the 25 wonders of the world, the Blue Lagoon, where we enjoyed native drinks and the clay face mask experience. Skuli took us to the right native restaurants and even found Americanized food for our children.

Throughout the trip, Skuli made sure we had the best experience possible. He recommended and made reservations at high-end restaurants, but he was always accommodating of our children's food sensitivities. He also took us to a 3D virtual experience in a planetarium-type feel and showed us the city of Reykjavik, which gave us a good taste of Iceland's largest city.

During our drives between excursions, Skuli made frequent stops to show us the gorgeous waterfalls, hot springs, mossy lava fields, black diamond beaches, geysers, Viking houses, double rainbows, and other breathtaking sights. He took us under the glaciers and ice caves, where we crawled through specific holes and lay under the glacier. This was a personal favorite of mine.

Skuli also curated a top-shelf experience for us in a super modern, three-bedroom home overlooking the ocean, with an outdoor hot tub designed to see the Northern Lights. He even took us to an Icelandic horse breeding facility and to snowmobiling up a snow glacier mountain for 1.5 hours.

One of our favorite experiences was a four-wheel-drive ATV ride through the terrains of Iceland and on the black sand beaches. We visited a shipwreck plane and saw amazing waves come crashing in. Skuli made sure we were safe at all times.

Along our travels, leaving the city permanently, we stopped at a very special glacier where Skuli did a drone flyover and took us deep into places in the glacier that no human could reach. Skuli's passion for photography and videography was evident, as he made sure we had the right image at all times and stopped in the middle of the street for a perfect shot.

Other experiences worth noting included boating on the lagoon that the glaciers melt into, riding additional ATVs along a different southern coast, visiting a tomato restaurant that had great food and a horse show, and much more.

Our final 4 bedroom apartment was what my kids said "The nicest ever!" You get the point.

In summary, Skuli is an exceptional tour guide who went above and beyond to make our trip to Iceland unforgettable. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and passionate guide who truly cares about his clients' experiences.

An excellent day trip, our guide “Kevin” (because his real name was too hard to pronounce) was attentive, funny and made our trip even more enjoyable. We started with the glacier as the weather was due to turn, and he wanted us to see it without getting soaked. It was stunning, well worth the walk, although I would suggest if you have remotely slippery shoes, buy some grips. At times it was a bit of a struggle to find a non-slippery part of the path to walk on. Don’t let that put you off though...it was beeeeaauuutiful! Then on to black beach in Vik, followed by the two waterfalls (one of which featured in Game of Thrones) Walkways to the waterfalls was again quite slippery, sheet ice in places, but I genuinely didn’t see anybody fall, so as long as you take care, and have good grip on your shoes, it shouldn’t be a problem.
Kevin, brought samples of Icelandic food and drink for us all, and then dropped us off back in Reykjavik as near to our Airbnb as he could. I would highly recommend this trip, it was 10 hours with an 8am pick up, and worth every penny.
