Darren, our guide, and Helgi, our driver, were amazing on our jaunt around the Circle. Great anecdotes and history was given were given by Darren, who is an American expat. He also gave us plenty of time to explore the sites ourselves or stayed close by if we had more detailed questions. Helgi was a very smooth driver, especially with all the tourists who were still learning the rules of Icelandic roads. At one stop, he even got a delicious treat for my boys. Would highly recommend the tour.

Monika was a great tour guide. She was friendly, helpful and gave a lot of great information. If you’re going to Iceland you need to visit the Blue Lagoon and the Golden Circle.

The tour was absolutely fantastic. The tour bus was very comfortable, and the explanations given during the ride were excellent. It would have been the perfect day if the weather had been better. I highly recommend this guide

This was the perfect tour to see ALL THE SIGHTS! It was a long tour, BUT you have come all the way to Iceland, so why not knock it all out? Philip was our guide- smaller van type - 19 people. He was so funny- created a playlist of music to go along with all the sights that we saw- he was very knowledgeable and putting the music to the ride was a clever way. He stopped at places in addition to our main sights- that were so fun to see- ice cream stop at a beautiful farm, a tomato greenhouse with the most amazing tomato soup, we fed horses and he got us right up to the front at the spa lagoon. Highly recommend this tour! We came from the NCL and the vans pick you up right at the port. book it!

My husband and I brought our show to the Reykjavik Fringe, and we had only one day to get outside of the city. I have randomly booked a tour with BusTravel Iceland (to see the gold circle), and it was such a great choice! The tour was very well planned and it left a lasting impression, it was one of the best days in 2024 and definitely the best guided tour I have ever had in my life! The guide, Matt, was very nice and very professional, passionate about Iceland and very knowledgeable, and also extremely shrewd and funny. We could not stop laughing, and this was a great way to retain the many extraordinary facts about this incredible country. I felt that the pace was just right, just as the time spent in every location, and the order in which we have visited the sites. Everything was clear and - truly - just as a perfect tour should be. In the end of the day we felt fulfilled, inspired, but not too tired. The bus driver, Artur, did also a great job, making sure everything goes smoothly, and was, too, friendly and helpful. I warmly recommend this tour (or any other tour with those guys) to everyone!

Well-planned whole day tour taking in all the main sights. A full ten hours but there were plenty of stops-even a few not on the schedule. We actually did the tour in reverse starting with the crater and ended at the national park but that was no problem. Great views especially at the end. Highlight probably the waterfall. We had only one full day in Reykjavik and were totally satisfied with this.
Our guide Daniel was exceptional in his breadth of knowledge and a commentary which he delivered with a dry wit. He also took care of all passengers and dealt sympathetically with a difficult situation which arose on the way. And finally he recommended an ideal evening restaurant for us.
    Top marks!

Our guide explained the geology we were seeing and touching in a relatable way and even told us warm tales of trolls to fill the time on the longer parts of our comfortable drive.

We had a helpful guide who took account of our mobility difficulties so that we could enjoy the highlights of the tour. I was thrilled by the personal experience of plate tectonics. We also had good views of the Gullfoss waterfall and the Strokkur geyser performed for us at Geysir park.

What an amazing day! I was so impressed with East West from start to finish. The pre-trip communication was very good. Our guide, Jake, was the best! He was so friendly and had many stories and great information about Iceland to share. We visited incredible sites- tectonic plates, waterfalls, geysers, tomato and dairy farms - I saw so much and learned so much - it was beyond my expectations! The group was small, only 18 people, so there was a nice camaraderie amongst the guests. Our hotel concierge recommended East West, and I'm so glad that they did!

Me and my daughter came to Iceland for a mini getaway. We are not familiar with anything so of course we booked a tour to cover everything in a short amount of time. We did expect a great time, but our bus driver made everything better. Joe (Joseph) was funny and yet super educational and gave us Great tips for our stops. Will recommend for anybody coming to Iceland

I joined the Golden Circle (smal) bus tour with Tony on 26 June 2024. I give him and this tour a 5 star. I joined a 20-people bus tour—the bus itself was very comfortable with wifi and charging outlets on the bus all the time.

The tour itself was well organised with great tourist attractions. Really enjoyed the meal at the tomato farm, waterfall, geyser, horse riding show and the national park just to name a few.

Our tour guide Tony was knowledgeable, funny and helpful. Throughout the tour, he gave us so much information on the history, geography and culture of Iceland. He also gave us recommendations for restaurants and places to go according to our interest. On top of that he was a great driver. Next time I come back to Iceland I will join their tours again. Thank you so much Tony.

If you are short on time during your stay in Reyjkavik, this is the best way to see all the scenery and natural beauty Iceland has to offer. Tour guides give you history of the landscape, people and events of the country. There is just enough time at each of the stops to experience it and you get to experience each location however you want to - you don't tour the crater or geyser as big group. Small group makes it super comfortable and pleasant on the bus. You can truly do this tour regardless of what the weather is doing (weather kept changing on our tour). It was beautiful, informative and comprehensive. Would definitely recommend.
