We had a fantastic day on the Golden Circle tour. Our guide Emilia was very informative but in an interesting way, not a boring one! She answered questions and generally made the tour a great experience. Great team work with driver Eggert too. Definitely recommend this trip to see the highlights, especially if time is short, as was the case for us.

If you have one day for sightseeing in Iceland, I'd recommend this tour. It includes all the things you'd hope to see - Kerid volcano crater is beautiful, with vivid colours, Gulfoss was the most impressive of the waterfalls I've seen here. You get to see geysirs, Thingvellir and also the Blue Lagoon, which is busy but unique so it's worth a visit, and I certainly felt pampered despite the crowds. Our guide Addi was fun and informative so we learned a lot about the cultural and natural history of the places on the tour. It's a lot of travel, but the view from the bus is part of the experience too.

Great tour. Our guide, Vjeran really made the tour. He added stops not on the itinerary. We got to see a spectacular waterfall off the beaten path. This was the best tour of our vacation. Highly recommended.

I can’t say enough good things about this tour. The coach was brand new. The tour guide, who told us to call him “Bear” was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and entertaining, an excellent driver, explained things so well all along the way and was so accommodating. All the sights and stops were very unique and not to be missed. An absolute must as a day trip from Reykjavík!

Fantastic day tour which I would highly recommend. HPO was a brilliant guide who was passionate and extremely knowledgeable about his home country. I felt the timings of the stops were spot on for the day we went on which the weather was very changeable and we perhaps did not spend as much time exploring the sights as we would have done if the weather had been kinder (it was very windy)! However, this did not spoil our trip and I’m sure we boosted the local economy buying all the hot drinks 🙂

We had a lovely day with Daniel our guide and Klmam our driver on the golden circle. Daniel was such a knowledgeable guide especially when it came to the geology of the areas we were passing through. The team also threw in a few extra stops along the way which was appreciated including a delicious ice cream stop. These were all very busy locations as expected but the team navigated us through with ease and managed to keep us on time. Daniel always pointed out areas of interest and really took the time to explain what we were seeing and why.

Everything went smoothly from pick up at the dock to drop off. Trond our guide had the dry sense of humour Aussies like and his commentary was interesting and informative.
We were dropped at the tectonic plate site, and the waterfall where we walked through and were picked up at the other end allowing us more time and no backtracking. We had ample time at the sites and got great photos before we finally relaxed in the hot pool at Secret Lagoon. It’s not a huge pool but not too crowded.
If you have been to NZ the geyser area is not as good but it’s OK.
Bonus was stopping for iccream and a stop to pet the ponies.
The small group of 18 is worth while as you aren’t waiting for people to catch up.

A Day in Iceland with Devin
I didn't know I wanted to visit Iceland until I took this tour. Our guide and driver, Devin, has an "exceptional grasp of the American English language!" He's funny, smart and so good at sharing information and history.

This was one of my most memorable day trips, ever. In one trip we were able to see; the president give a live speech (within feet of us) and sing with children, a geyser, a beautiful waterfall, a glacier (in the distance), drive across a continental riff … and take a quick detour to pet and feed Icelandic horses. Margret (our guide) and Ulfar (our driver) were great. I learned a lot about the history and current agricultural standings of Iceland. Well worth doing this trip.

Excellent guide. Sights were beautiful and interesting. Learned a lot of history. Learned a lot about life in Iceland. Be prepared to walk and do some stairs. Worth it!

We had a helpful guide who took account of our mobility difficulties so that we could enjoy the highlights of the tour. I was thrilled by the personal experience of plate tectonics. We also had good views of the Gullfoss waterfall and the Strokkur geyser performed for us at Geysir park.

Great tour, our weather was spectacular! Our guide was knowledgeable and fun to listen to and could answer just about about any question thrown at him. Baldvin brought a gentle humour, kindness and patience to the tour. There was a good balance of independence and group activities. Food at the Tomato Farm was excellent. The only thing we would change is to add an extra 15 minutes or so at each stop to fully soak in the experiences!

I had a fantastic day. A great way to explore the area. The guide ( 23/5/24) was outstanding. I learnt so much about Iceland and thank him for that.
